I came into San Angelo to have brunch before completing other tasks. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon and eggs. Abby (I believe that's her name) was very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my time until her male colleague began rushing me to leave (had not finished my meal). If I return I'll definitely be sure to ask for only Abby so I can enjoy a tasty and chill meal.

We found Angry Cactus because our GPS rerouted us on our way to San Angelo State Park. This was our gain. The entire Angry Cactus experience was INCREDIBLE. The food was crazy good. We shared West Texas Tacos with Blackened Catfish. My partner had the Mushroom Swiss Burger. I thoroughly enjoyed the Angry Vegan (I am not vegan-it just sounded interesting). The service was fast, courteous and went out of their way to make out of towners feel welcome. The establishment is clean (including the restrooms) and the decor is beautifully interesting. If you're in the area it would be your loss not to enjoy this place. Angry Cactus has a full bar including liquor, wine and beer with daily drink specials.

I had a great dinner on this April evening with my family. There was an initial long wait, but I understand that this wasn't the restaurant's fault and was glad to see this local business booming and busy serving the community. We ordered the macaroni and cheese and were surprised by the overwhelming queso sauce and lack of bacon. The hibiscus kiss was delicious, and I would recommend it. I also had a vodka soda that was strong and fizzy. The chicken fried steak was uniquely presented and served with perfectly blanched and al dente vegetables. We also ordered the cheddar burger and thought it was simple and straight forward would've liked to be offered condiments for the plain and dry burger. Overall a clean and family friendly environment. Will be back next time we are in town!

The food was a little too sweet for me. The service was great and the ambience was a five star. I would highly recommend people that like a sweet bun on their burger to try it. It wouldn't hurt. I do not like a sweet bun on my burgers that's the only reason I give a such a low rating, but the service is great and the ambience is great.

My first visit here at the Angry Cactus. Everything was great ??. Our waitress was friendly, I had the West TX tacos, blackened catfish. They were delicious with blue corn tortillas. The atmosphere was great! I will definitely be going back to this place. Two thumbs up kinda place ?? ??.

They really don’t give you enough stars for this place. The meatloaf is the bomb. I caught myself just before I picked the plate up to lick it clean. It’s not that sort of place…. But it’s not overly formal or anything uncomfortable like that either. I regret that it is six hours away from home as I would like to work my way through the entire menu. People of the Cactus! I will return.

We love this place! There are so many options there is something for everyone. We love the tacos, taco salad, fries, and my husband loves the catfish. Also their “healthy meals” are really good and full of flavor too. Highly recommend!
