This place? Staff was OK...FOOD OK. I CANNOT RECOMMEND. Wife and I ask for a table, they tried to put us in a booth.i believe we would have appreciated it more had the hostess, paid more attention. She showed very little concern. On the other side the waitstaff were excellent, and the food was OK. The entire experience left a bad impression on us. The hospitality, hostess wasn't friendly. That soured the entire visit.

Well, after all my excitement about Gil's, I must restate my opinion. Breakfast is a no-go. Service was slooooow.... I ordered migas with cheese. The entire plate had an odd smell.... from the oil, perhaps? The migas were spongy. The beans had not been seasoned, but were inundated with cheese. In addition, I was served corn tortillas when I ordered flour. Oddly enough, the best taste of the meal was my corn tortilla dipped in their salsa. I do love their salsa. I will return for lunch or supper, but not breakfast. I'm headed back to Hidalgo's for breakfast.

Me, my sister, and three small, hungry and rowdy children went to this amazing restaurant. They were patent with us, kind to us, and the food was fantastic. Neat art on the walls, friendly staff. Price was great for service and food. We were visiting from out of town and wanted something local and delicious. This checked all the boxes. Thanks !
