We just had the pleasure of running into Edgar at Los Gallos Bakery and Restaurant. We wanted to try a couple of new pastries, and since we were unfamiliar with the menu, Edgar broke everything down for us. That was incredibly helpful, and we are so excited to go back and try their fresh tortillas and other foods next time. Highly recommend!

Delicious and crazy good value. You can eat like a king for 10 bucks. All the breakfast burritos I've tried are great (Barbacoa and asado especially, but chorizo and egg was good too) and they are super fast if you just need to run in real quick and grab something to go. No sit down space but no one gave me a second glance when I sat in the truck and scarfed a burrito down real quick. Baked goods aren't bad either, I enjoyed the empanada with cream cheese.

This little restaurant has great food. The service area is relatively small and can get busy, but the food is worth the wait. Went to grab some pan on a rainy day last week and it was fresh out of the oven. It was delicious and soft, perfect for a rainy day. Service was quick and friendly.

I have been here before. And I have eaten several of their food. It is very nice, but they only except cash only they do not do credit cards, nor do they deliver.

Our local veterans council put on a Mexican Christmas Dinner for veterans, first responders, an their families in December. I volunteered to bring the pastries. A friend at work recommended I visit Los Gallos Bakery and that turned out to be great advice! The good people at Los Gallos were happy to help me select a nice variety of Mexican holiday pastries and treats. The price for the number of items I picked out was more than fair - and the baked goods were the hit of the dinner! I highly recommend Los Gallos Bakery as THE place to go for fresh, delicious baked goods!

Hidden Gem! If you love fresh Mexican pastries this is the best bakery I've found located on Armstrong. There's a wide assortment of empandas ( pumpkin my favorite) cookies, churros so many more choices. Tortillas the best I've tasted, the staff no matter how busy always customers in. Great all around

We visited here on our trip to try their donuts. The bread was great and the staff were friendly. We took a longer route to visit this place, but it was worth it. I was given the gift of delicious taste and an unforgettable day. thank you

One reason this place always has a line of people is because their food is incredibly amazing. Their Menudo, tamales, burritos and sweet Mexican bread is one of the best in San Angelo.

Born and raised in San Angelo, I've been coming here since I was a child. The quality has stayed consistent all these years! Family owned business too! Primarily Spanish speaking but you don't need to speak Spanish to grab the treats! They are closed on Monday's. Free front row parking. The best time to go is in the first few hours-the bread is SO FRESH! They sale burritos too!

Burritos are good. They also carry lengua at times which is a fave of mine. Their empanadas de calabaza are sooo good.
