Came in 30 minutes before closing to grab Togo food with my coworkers, the server took drink orders while we looked at menus and went to the back and we heard her say, “these guys are covered in tattoos I can’t tell them no” to the other staff while getting our drinks. We immediately stood up and walked out feeling uncomfortable. Try not to judge a book by its cover.

As the original owner of Nakamura back from 2007 I am glad to see the place still open. The sushi menu part was still pretty much the same as when I wrote the menu so it’s nice to see my family names still used on the rolls. It was nice to see some the things I picked out for the restaurant many years ago still there. It’s somewhat cluttered and could use a scrub down. The food was good but the wait staff was lacking in tentativeness to our needs.
