First off it smells like a sewer that has freshly been loaded, the service is pretty harsh and the foods mid but not worth the price and they charged us for every refill of doctor pepper and we only had 1 refill each such a rip off should be shut down

The food was excellent and so was the service. I rode motorcycle over 140 miles in rainy, 40 degree weather to get here and it was totally worth it.

I stopped here while using Harvest Host. The steak was out of this world delicious! As was the creamed spinach and onion rings. If your passing through make sure you stop and eat!

Had the chisel and the ranchhand and they were both excellent. The descriptions on the menu don't do them justice. Can't wait to try more of their menu.

The only bad thing about this place is getting your order takes ages, besides that everything is good. This is no a place for a quick

We attended this establishment as a party of 10 for a birthday party. Things started off good but turned bad quickly. They gave us refills on tea that looked like mud with no ice. Then we had to wait forever for our food. When we did get the food, the people that got served were given plates with missing items and cold food. My mashed potatoes looked like mush while someone else in my party had good looking potatoes. My sister in law had to get up several times to grab the missing plates, steak sauce, and missing sides from the kitchen. She was served a steak that tasted horrible. The lady claims it's because it's aged steak but the other three steaks were fine. They ended up saying they would comp the steak but didn't. We had to tell them again and they finally took it off. Then when we got our tickets they charged each group 20% gratuity. I would never go back and wouldn't recommend it.

We stayed overnight as Harvest Hosts members and had dinner here. Great staff and menu.Overnight accommodations were fine for a night. Lots of space for our 35ft RV. Lots of lighting in the parking lot which made it difficult to sleep with blinds open for a breeze. Super quiet. Might not recommend it for heavy rains.

The food is excellent along with the service. Nice relaxed dining area. Daily both food and bar specials. 15 minutes from San Angelo in Wall, TX on Loop 570.

We were told first they didn't have a seasoning to complete part of a side, which is okay. Then the cheese we select (for an addition) they didn't have it ( like not even a menu option). Upon looking at the menu, they said oh we need to update it. Okay that's a little frustrating, but it's okay. Then the food comes out. We get something completely different. They weren't bust at all, this shouldn't have been an issue. Why is a server apologizing this much for a cook? The PRICE and quality.. Hard NO for a second try. The two star is really only for the polite and quick to correct error. Also I don't expect a pass on anything, however you'd think with all the issues. A small discount..10% something. Nope nothing. Also the side that required seasoning was extra...ya we were still charged. It just wasn't worth another question. Too bad on this one.

First we arrived around 8pm and it took about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. We ordered our food and were informed they were out of the mac and cheese, so my wife ordered a baked potato. About 25 minutes later the waiter came back to our table and said another table had taken all of the baked potatoes so my wife ordered a sweet potato. About 10 minutes later the waiter then asked if we wanted drink refills. We said yes and he asked what we were drinking and my wife told him sweet tea, the same as she had originally ordered. He then informed us that at over 2 hours prior to them closing, in West Texas, they are out of sweet tea and not making more. I got frustrated and the only other occupied table told us they had been waiting over an hour and a half for their food. I then at that point told the waiter we no longer wanted our order and were leaving, but were still willing to pay for our drinks which he said were on the house. From the pictures you can see the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice (why it got more than 1 star). You can also see the place was empty. They need to hire more staff to work on a Saturday evening, a prime time for people to go out to eat. This was our first time here and will likely be our last unless major changes are made.

We ordered the steak bits today. The flavor was good but the meat was so tough it was not edible.

Most disappointing meal I ever had to pay for and could not get eat. Chicken Fried Steak was way too salty, and I’m one who like salt. Potatoes were room temperature. Waitress lacked in skills, both for dealing with people and waiting tables. Certainly not a place I would ever go again or
