Got a home made cinnamon waffle cone with 2 big scoops, one cookies and cream and the other a Ghirardelli chocolate chip for ~$10. Absolutely fantastic, can’t recommend this ice cream and the establishment enough.It was pretty quiet when I came in, so plenty of parking and service was both prompt and friendly. The place was immaculate, no sticky floor like with bigger chain ice cream places.The Latest Scoop is a MUST if you enjoy delicious and fresh ice cream.Oh, and there are also vegan options, fruit smoothies, and frappes too if that is your speed.
Some of the best ice cream I've had...very creamy, smooth and the flavors are intense, not watered down like some other places.

Small ice cream shop in downtown San Angelo. We didn’t eat in but the place looked clean. The problem with ice cream places is they are always sticky. Didn’t have that problem here. They had a good selection of ice cream and dairy free alternatives. I had the birthday cake with sprinkles. It was very good and rich.

I can't believe I've never been here before. Where in the world have I been? I'll start by saying that the aroma walking into this place is by far so divine! It smelt so delicious that my eye balls went crisscross and my mouth drooled! I got their homemade pecan waffle cone with a scoop of the dreamy chocolate and a scoop of the roasted strawberry and let me tell you....it was a complete and utterly delightful treat! I will definitely be coming back for more! If you've never been, I highly recommend you go try it! You will not be disappointed! With so many flavors and options, I bet you'll create a delicious treat for yourself.
First time visiting the latest scoop. Very pleasant decorations and atmosphere. Grabbed a scoop of the Mexican vanilla in a vanilla cone. Absolutely delicious. They eazy earned a forever

I've been to The Latest Scoop twice as I was urged by my friends to go for their "excellent" ice cream. We walk in and no one greets us with a hello or a smile or anything, then when we were ordering the blonde girl seemed like she'd rather be anywhere than where she was. I got my ice cream and it tasted like the milk was spoiled when they made it. I went a second time to give them another try and the customer service was just as bad if not worse. Dull, disgusted blonde girl, yet again took my order and was just as enthused as I remembered from before. My friend got the cheery girl with purple hair. I got the dud. I ordered the cherry lee lewis and it was ok, tasted kinda wonky. I can almost promise you I'll never go back. So much for buying local and supporting my community.

Worst customer service ever. I asked the girl at the store that the my icecream was tasting bad. She with a rude attitude was like sorry that’s why we provide samples first and asked me to pay again for an icecreqm. Never coming back here again and don’t recommend.
Great little ice cream shop. They make their own ice creams which were all fantastic! My son got the blueberry lavender, which I wouldn’t have chosen but I tried it and now I wish I had gotten it. My husband got the salted caramel and it was amazing!

It has been a long time since I've been to this place. The last time I was there was probably about 2 to 3 years or maybe two years outside two years. The service was great. The staff was great and I got to meet one of the owners of the place. I have not been able to get back since that I surely want to but generally I don't crave ice cream but I do however, recommend this place so very highly. If you're in area for an ice cream lover, this is your place to go they do have fantastic and I love the lavender whatever ice cream my wife doesn't she likes the other one. She likes another one but I'm just telling you I love the lavender for men loving lavender. I guess it's good. I hope everything worked out, but this is a fantastic place to visit, and I would highly recommend highly highly recommend. Because I generally do not even think about ice cream shops. But this place in San Angelo Texas is fantastic.
