I liked Whataburger when I first got to texas. After 30 years, it's lost it's shine. I do like the onion rings and patty melt but I wouldn't go out of my way to get them anymore.

We came to San Angelo for one night from San Antonio and this was the only thing open right by our hotel, I got super excited when I saw they had the hatch green chili burger because they don't have them in San Antonio..... We got our food and went back to the room, when I opened my burger I was so pissed to see it was a patty melt and not the green chili burger. I had already changed in to my pajamas so I wasn't about to get re-dressed and go out again. It was a good patty melt, but I can get that any time here. Y'all need to pay attention to your orders and make sure they are going to the right people.

By far the worst fast food place I’ve been to in the state of Texas. We have been in the area for 4 years and not once has this location in San Angelo ever gotten our order correct. I went back to the counter 3 times today for an order that wasn’t delivered correctly. I used to go through the drive through only to get home to find that either part of my order was missing or what I ordered wasn’t correct at all. They even recite the order back when ordering through the drive through and still can’t get it right in the bag. I have never seen this level of incompetence in staffing. Upper management should seriously think about your hiring and training programs before you become extinct like many other well known names and brands across the country. Me personally, my family and I will never visit or recommend one of your locations to anyone. There are far too many establishments in high competition to capture a percentage of market share to grow their companies and I have experienced far superior service with other brands . Good luck to you. I won’t be back.

Dining in, we have never had an issue. Getting curbside has been a nightmare. It always takes longer than app says. Food taste like it was made day before. We got home and the cheese was not even melted, still in cold form ? they charged for cream gravy, we didn’t get it and they forgot 1 fry. The fries were awful. My 3 year old has enjoyed dog food and wouldn’t eat the fries ? the manager was very professional and said to go back up there to replace the entire place, which I appreciate but my child has to go to bed. $30 down drain for a terrible meal. Never again.
