I’ve been here a couple times and it’s been good each time but this time, not good at all.We walked in about 1:45pm, I ordered the crispy chicken taco plate and my mom got the Mexican plate. It all looked good when it got to the table but the chicken in my tacos was cold. So I politely told the waitress, she took it back to the kitchen and when she brought it back the plate was hot and the tacos were completely soggy. They just microwaved the entire plate and gave it back to me like that. It was inedible. I couldn’t believe a kitchen would put that out.I politely told her I wasn’t going to eat it but my 1 yr old ate some of the rice and beans so they could charge me for that if they wanted to. I go to pay and the lady at the cashier said “I’m not charging you for the tacos, sorry, but for the rice and beans” and she charged me $6.99 for it! I couldn’t believe it. If you were sorry, you’d comp the entire plate that I didn’t even eat because your kitchen ruined it and my son may have had MAYBE a spoonful of rice and beans. Terrible food (I guess at closing time) and customer service. I will not be returning.

Beware… old man at the register will somehow magically come up with random numbers and over charge you. I ordered 4 tacos (potato and egg & 1 chicharron) I was charged over $20.

First, it's Abuela's and not Buela's. Bye let's discuss the food. It's fabulous. The tortillas are home made by wonderful ladies in the kitchen. The breakfast tacos are excellent. I like the whole bacon strip in my bacon and egg. That's what they serve. Good pieces and well cooked. Not too much, not too little. Service is timely and very nice. It's a local joint so you'll get known quickly if you return.
Cute little family Mexican restaurant. Food was great and you cannot go wrong with in-person or to-go service. Extra points for being clean and certified a 100 grade by the city inspector. Breakfast tacos are the personal highlight for this place!
