Best macaroons I've found in San Antonio so far! I'm from New York. The seasonal fruit tart was divine and love how festive the pastries and cakes get for the holidays!

Even though the line was long. The young woman behind the counter, Hayley, she was amazing. Her customer service was top notch. She made recommendations, very courteous and nice smile. Also the pastries are very nice.

Stopped in here to try a chocolate croissant and I wasn't disappointed...it was so flaky and chocolaty...fun place to come and have a coffee and a muffin or come get a sandwich for lunch or a dessert!

The food presentation was really eye-catching. I just returned from Paris but missed trying the almond croissant. So, I came to Bakery Lorraine for a French almond croissant. However, having just tried superb French croissants at boulangeries in Paris, the one I tried here didn't quite impress me. It wasn't crunchy on the outside and extra soft on the inside. Thinking of having it reheated since I ordered this at 3 PM, heating it up might improve the quality of their croissant. However, they said that didn't happen because the food had been in the common area already. Heating it up wasn't offered for our food before they handed them to us. I commend Starbucks because they do a better job of heating up sandwiches before they are handed to the customer. This almond croissant is disappointing. The service was good, quite attentive and helpful. Customer service receives a positive feedback. Today's ambiance is better than previous visits.

It's my first visit in Pearl District. I am surprised by this great pastry store. Pastry and cakes look nice. I especially enjoy the chocolate crossaint. Nice visit.

Great location, coffee, pastries, baristas, and kitchen staff. My most recent experience was weirdly not great. It was a Sunday afternoon and the farmers market was wrapping up, so there was a bit of a rush. It's understandable for things to take time and orders to get lost, so I waited 30 minutes after ordering my coffee to alert one of the managers. He looked at me and didn't say anything then, went to talk to someone in the kitchen about it. After about a minute with no further acknowledgement, I went back to my seat. 10 minutes after that, still no coffee. By then things had slowed down, so I went to the counter and the baristas there were extremely kind and helpful, putting in a new order. When the manager eventually brought out my coffee, not a word! No apology or acknowledgement of my hour-long wait, plus he brought it in a to-go cup, spilled all over the lid. It's like they took a manager from Denny's (no offense) and put them in the middle of a great cafe. I can understand that complications happen during service, but lack of communication is hard to overlook. Also, the WiFi there either doesn't work, or was down all Sunday afternoon (insult to injury - made my hour feel especially like lost time).

Beautiful macarons, and taste/texture was ok. Food was good, somewhat pricey but for the area on par for my expectations. Very friendly staff.

We enjoyed the fruit tart from here. The lemon blueberry scone however was underwhelming (tasted no lemon at all). Overall the atmosphere was nice, especially the location, and staff was kind.

Very good service, but very pricey, especially for plain coffee.Parking: Parking was free until 2 pm weekdays, so this is a good breakfast stop if you want to try pastries & fancy coffee.

Ordered the lunch special with the hearty salad according to the cashier it would contain croutons and different veggies - but it were just some green leaves. Would have picked tomato soup in retrospect. The turkey sandwich was great. The croissant was very mediocre. WiFi doesn't work.

They stopped serving food really early. No list of what beer or wine they had on hand. The cookies were mediocre for the price. Service was short and unhelpful but they also had a huge rush of people and seemed to be overwhelmed even though it was only a Wednesday night around 6

Was visiting San Antonio for the first time in years and stumbled across this place while walking thru the Pearl. Cozy little bakery/coffee shop. The best thing about this place is they are one of the few places that actually has things priced pretty well. A large coffee was $3.50. . . .a cookie was about $3, etc. Compared to other places in the Pearl District I thought this place had the most reasonable prices. Staff was nice, place was clean and the food was great. The only negative was their was a rather long wait for the restrooms (which was a little odd), but other than that we enjoyed our stop by and would go back.
