Great place for breakfast! The staff are prompt, timely, professional, and friendly. Their constant attention to patrons is phenomenal, nobody ever runs out of coffee or anything else as they constantly come around. The food is made to order and is delicious. Good food. Good people. Always get great service. Sometimes they do have change over of servers and some staff. That happens. No human is "perfect", except for the one, Christ Jesus - Some expectations end up with resentment. I have never resented coming to this diner on Sunday after church even when they are busy! But, i have also gotten to know the staff and owner. Very approachable people, are you? I like to look in the mirror and JUDGE myself.

Brought a group of about 10 after church on a Sunday. We were quickly accommodated. Our server was delightful and had a fun and generous spirit. Highlight of the meal.... The strawberry shortcake!!! Beautiful presentation and even better taste. I'm going back on my own just for the cake!

I was just told about this place a couple of weeks ago. The first time I went, I ordered two burgers. The fries were very dark and overcooked, but the burgers were great and I thought their prices were really good. So I went back a second time and ordered the chicken fried chicken and fish and chips for $10.99 each. I was charged $27.97, didn't think much of it. When I got home, we noticed immediately that the fish was spoiled and smelled like ammonia (a sure sign of spoiled seafood) and rot. So I called them and they said they would offer me a replacement fish and chips meal. I didn't want to risk that disaster again, so the next day, I went back to the restaurant and ordered two burgers. When I asked why my total was $27.97 the day before, instead of $23.79 like it should have been, they said they charged extra for the "to go" containers. Really?? $4 extra for to go containers?? Then the lady told me that they charged extra for soup. I said that when I placed the order, they told me soup was included with the meals! It literally says on the menu that you can choose between soup or salad. So I don't know why they are also charging extra for it. And the worst part was that the manager doubled down on their rotten fish. She said "we have been in business for years and never had a problem." I told her that she needs to go taste the fish herself and she'll see that it's spoiled, before they make somebody sick. And even though they promised me a replacement meal the day before, they tried to nickel and dime me today. I expected at least a $10.99 credit for my meal today, but they would only give me one free burger even though it costs less than the fish and chips meal they were replacing. The lady told me that she wasn't going to give me $10.99 because the rest of the meal was ok. I couldn't believe it. You almost give your customers food poisoning and won't even give them a full refund for the whole meal?? I am so done with this place. What I will say is that the two young ladies who run the cash register are very sweet. But the cooks and whoever is managing the place need some help. The quality of the food is inconsistent at best and unsafe at its worst. They seem to make up prices as they go and charge random amounts. And the way the manager got defensive over the spoiled fish rather than acknowledging that there might be a problem is the most disturbing part. That's the kind of thing you see on "Kitchen Nightmares." She treated me like I was making up stories. When in reality, we have been looking for a restaurant that has a good fish plate and were eager to give Baldy's a try. But we were utterly disappointed with the entire experience. I hope the owner sees this message and has someone check the fish before a customer gets food poisoning or something worse happens. And a word of advice to the customers: check your receipts and make sure you're being charged the right amount. And whatever you do, don't order the fish!

I loved the chicken salad! The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The veggies were fresh and the ranch was homemade. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was also very well seasoned. I would skip on the mashed potatoes next time because they are instant. But that’s just a personal preference. I loved the experience! I can’t wait to go back
