This place has definitely jumped started our weekend. All around happy go lucky staff!!the food is amazing, exactly the home cooking flavor we were looking for!! And the portion size is perfect! This will definitely not be the last time we will visit this restaurant!!!

The food was good but the service was absolutely horrible. Didn't fully take our orders before running off took 10 minutes to bring us our waters literally they served people who came in after us and they had the same food as us we waited 25-30 minutes for our appetizers food came out about 10 min later. Waitress ran off before we could ask for condiments more water lemon or silver ware so we sat another 8 minutes waiting for them to come back and give us the condiments to go with our good by time they got us everything we needed to eat and enjoy our meal we were ready to leave and over the experience. The alligator was good I've had it at every bayseas and this location did it the best. Catfish would've probably been good if I would've gotten to eaten it hot or fresh unfortunately by time I was ready to enjoy my food it was cold after all the extra waiting on waitresses. It was sad because we really wanted to enjoy the experience but the waitresses didn't even come close to giving a halfway likeable service very slow and incomplete. I suggest retraining on waiting tables. Stop trying to rush and run off and make sure you ask is their anything else anybody else would like to request before running off. We shouldn't have to send you back to get condiments 3 different times because you don't know how to wait 2 seconds to hear what everyone needs.

Our first time here! My husband and I had to buy time while our car was getting work done next door. So glad we gave this place a try. The food and service were AMAZING! The restaurant and restrooms were clean. Our food came out really quick and the portions exceeded our expectations! My side salad was enough for a whole meal in itself. Loved the catfish and the coleslaw
I stopped by and ordered carry out. Service was fast and friendly. My order was ready pretty soon. The food was hot and delicious. The portions of fish were GENEROUS!! Must visit.

Was looking for somewhere nearby to where we were visiting and found this whole in the wall! Definitely don’t judge a book by its cover. The food is amazing and the staff is even better! We ordered the kids fish nugget (red bowl), catfish and shrimp platter, catfish platter, and a meatloaf plate! The plates were ginormous! You could definitely share.

Wife came home with leftovers of a catfish plate she ate there and a portion of gumbo she thought I would enjoy. At check-out, she was asked if everything was fine and she mentioned that the fish was greasy. My wife received a discount. I agree that the fish was greasy. The gumbo was the worst of all though. Anyone could get a better taste from can of corn hash and better visual appeal from menudo than their gumbo.If employees get a meal discount there, they differently do not eat the gumbo or think twice of eating the catfish.

Definitely some of the best catfish around and the greens are absolutely unbelievable as well. Very friendly and fast service and they really took care of me as far as the amount of catfish for the price. This is definitely a place you don't want to pass up if you get the chance to stop by. Very convenient location as well and plenty of parking
