This restaurant was okay. I definitely was higher expectations but that's fine. The food was a little pricey & it didn't taste the best.. The server was awesome super sweet! The inside is really nice & spacious (:

Waitress was awesome & attentive. Restaurant also has a bar area but we chose a table. We ordered the shrimp & grits, Mexican corn & collard greens. The Mexican corn was very spicy so prepare yourself. The shrimp and grits weren't bad. I would give a B+ and the collard green were a bit bland. We also topped the meal off with a frozen adult beverage, which was amazing!

Really hoped this place would offer great Cajun food. It doesn't. Gumbo was thin and watery, boudan was bland, shrimp was coated with a heavy batter, couldn't taste the shrimp. Chips and dip were served, but we had to send the chips back. They were old and stale. The waiter was a pleasant young man, we enjoyed talking to. With the tip, $72.....terrible, Don waste your money.

Came for the 5lbs for $35 special they had, first time here and will be back! Spice was just right, and queso fries were yummy. Esmie did a great job and was such a kind and attentive server. She said it was her 2nd day on the floor and I would’ve never been able to tell. Being in the service industry myself, it feels great to see others being just as hospitable. Thanks Esmie!

I attended a business meeting and dinner at the restaurant from 6:30 pm til about 9 pm. The service and food was excellent. The side room was nice, but quite chilly in temperature. This was due to the windows in the exterior wall of of the building, which was also one side of the room.As to the usage of the room, it is set up well for any small meeting or group of about 30 people. It is well lighted and not noisy from the outside dining area. I recommend the restaurant and the room for private groups.As to our dinners, everyone enjoyed their menu choices. There were no complaints from anyone. I ordered the loaded chicken in a large bun, and fries. The chicken was roasted well and had jalapeno cheeze and bacon within it. It was a large, delicious sandwhich with lots of crispy fries. It will satisfy any hungry patron.

Hands down the best Cajun food in San Antonio. I grew up on the Texas/Louisiana line, and this taste like home !!!!!The place is welcoming and the staff are top notch !Got Maw's Gumbo and crawfish etouffe.I am a regular now, thanks y'all !

The food was really good, everything was awesome but one thing happened to me and my family. I kid you not, a huge roach just splat on a table behind us. Alive and moving around, immediately lost our appetite and made us want to leave. They only gave us gift cards and $15 off a $100 order. Pretty gross, I don't know if the roaches reproduced already or what but yeah. If you love sea roaches and land roaches, then its perfect to dine here.Kid-friendliness: The servers are super nice to the kids, friendly.

As we sat down the atmosphere was really nice a Orleans vibe that was really well done. Let me start by saying the restaurant was not busy only a few tables were full. As we sat down at our table I had to eventually get up and ask the hostess if we can have a server come over to help us for we have been at table for 15 minutes with no help. The hostess started searching the restaurant for someone to help us. Finally a sever came over. She took our order and sent it in. First the appetizer came out and 1 meal at the same time. We had to ask for the margarita we ordered that the server forgot to put on for we say her over at the bar telling bartender to make it. As the other 3 meals came out presentation was very sloppy. I ordered the gumbo which the bowl was half empty and splattered all over the bowl it looked like it was leftovers from another table. While we were eating the managers office door was open when I counted 6 servers all playing around throwing candy at each other and very unprofessional. At the same time the family behind us eating had issues with food and was complaining the server has not been over. All in all very bad service and no management oversight to say the least.

Everything was amazing, the service was a bit sluggish but it was very busy and I was impressed they did so well under so much pressure. The food idk what to say, I know this is a "chain" but it didn't taste like chain food. The food was actually pretty incredible considering this was a last minute decision to eat here, (wait at Texas Roadhouse was just too long). I am new to the state but feel like this spot should be a carefully guarded secret. Any future family/friends I have visit will be eating this food ?.
