My first time visiting and the food was phenomenal. I was able to get a soul that didn't put you to sleep or make you feel bad for eating it.Vegetarian options: The restaurant is vegan/plant-based.Parking: Lots of parking.

Visited this place for the first time and the atmosphere and service were great. The food options were okay. I liked the fact that the entrees included 3 side options (which is rare for the price) however the food itself was lackluster. There are a lot of fried options, and I highly recommend that they add other options such as grilled, blackened or baked. I got the smothered chick'n and gravy and selected mashed potatoes with gravy, candied yams, and greens as my sides. The menu does not state that rice comes with this meal, and that's important because I wouldn't have selected the mashed potatoes as a side option since the chick'n came with rice (although I believe the mashed potatoes were not potatoes but maybe burro bananas). The chick'n and gravy itself were bland. We had fried mushrooms as a starter which were super flavorful almost too salty but still good, and I was surprised that the chick'n batter lacked flavor. My husband got the shrimp which is the only grilled option and they too were bland. My son got the buffalo chick'n tenders and he LOVED them. The sides were all delicious, was just disappointed with the protein entrees. Will give them another try but I won't be getting the smothered chick'n or shrimp next time.

This place has great food but very unorganized and is always out of food. It’s very inconsistent. Like what’s the point of having people order the food online for you to tell them hey we’re out. And this is not the first time. I called like 10 min after you guys open and you’re saying you already out. Please do better.

Came in on Wednesday at noon to meet with a friend and their register and online ordering was down.Only option was to pay with cash and the cashier didn't mention they didn't have exact change. Just said I'll get change for you and took an hour which point we gave up on exact change. I guess now they charge $2 for glass of water....All of the sides were "out" even though its 12pm and only one table that was there before us. Only 3 options available and those were nothing I wanted but didn't have much choice. If I wasn't meeting a friend I would have walked out at that point when register is down and none of the sides I wanted were available. We ordered regardless and waited for our food. Took almost an hour to get the food even though we were the only table. Staff brought "complimentary" water for our wait that we didn't even want and we already had other drinks. Then our food was brought in a to go containers for dine in, that looked smaller than their normal dine in portion. Then he apologized that chef put in to go because dine in was closed didnt realize we were last table...We finish our meal and they accept another dine in table behind us. So no idea what was going on with the service, kitchen and front of house had no communication even though it was open and they were talking to each other...Seems like service here is hit or miss. This is second time with really bad service. But most of time its great. Staff was friendly but with all the issues and wait time on food they could have done much better.

Wow! Where did this hidden gem pop up from? We showed up on a day where they were short staffed. The guy that took our order handled it like a boss! We heard him encouraging his cook ?. My husband and I love to see and hear that kind of teamwork! We will absolutely be back!Vegetarian options: Yuh-meeeeee

Being from California I've heard so much about Binge Kitchen and couldn't end our trip without stopping by. First let me say, the customer service was AMAZING!! We felt genuinely welcomed by every employee we engaged with( Southern Hospitality for sure). After a long debate lol we decided upon the Chikn Sliders and added sides. The sliders were absolutely delicious and filling, I had the buffalo and gold rush sliders and let me tell you.. WHATEVER IS IN THAT GOLD RUSH SAUCE IS INSANE!! The flavor is definitely magical, I see why the sauce is top secret. I wish the buffalo had more of a buffalo punch but it was still great. I did sample the honey bbq and hot honey but they kind of tasted the same, I couldn't really tell the difference but both were very good. The yams were seasoned to perfection and the potato salad was THEE BEST I've had since my vegan journey began years ago.. an absolute fav for sure!!. We dined in and it was comfy and relaxing, I loved the natural light and the 70's music playing made it even more enjoyable. There's nothing like great food, great customer service, great music and great convo..Binge Kitchen did not disappoint. If you're in the mood for some amazing soul food and other classic dishes, you have to swing by Binge Kitchen in San Antonio!! and may your taste buds be blessed!

Binge is a no for me. The food was decent but customer service is everything and it was non existent on our visit. We walked in and wasn't even greeted by the cashier. He was sweeping up and the chairs were already flipped on the tables and we got there and hour before closing. Dude barely acknowledged us. We didn't even know he was the cashier until he put the broom down and came to the register. I thought he was just the clean up guy and someone else would come out the back. Oh and he continued to sweep for about another three minutes while we were standing at the register. He walks up to the register and just stares at us. No welcome or greeting or anything. WTF is up with some businesses and customer service? I liked my mushrooms but my wife said the Mac and cheese sucked. I tried a bite and it wasn't for me we ended up trashing it. One thing that gets at least the two star for me is the mushrooms were pretty good and they were piping hot. I would never go back because I refuse to be treated like the business owes me a favor. If your employees don't like serving customers than fire them family or not. If you don't like customer service but you have a great product please for the love of God hire a good customer service person to represent your business.

I make it a habit to locate Vegan restaurants when traveling for work. I landed at San Antonio from Detroit just in time for lunch. Harry greeted me with a big smile and made me feel welcome. The portions are ample and I wondered if I could finish it all (which I did). The orange chick'n with broccoli was delicious, but the beans were killer. Seriously you could order three portions and make a delicious meal. When it came time for dessert, they were out of cookies, and they whipped up a specialty vegan parfait for me. IT WAS SO RICH! Delicious and made on the spot. This is a great spot for non meat eaters and meat eaters alike. I love finding places like Binge Kitchen in out of the way places and I will definitely be back on my next trip to San Antonio!

This is pure soul food heaven, loved by vegans and carnivores alike! My in-laws came all the way from NC to visit us for Thanksgiving and asked to go to Binge Kitchen. They liked it so much, we went twice within a week's span (day before Thanksgiving & the Monday after Thanksgiving). The person who took our order was so kind and patient. He said everything tasted good and he wasn't lying! My immediate family of 4 are NOT vegans, but we love soul food. We were all pleasantly surprised at just how good it was and how we did not miss meat. My super picky 6 y/o practically ate all of my husband's fried shrimp. It even looked like shrimp! My 11 y/o loved the orange chick'n bowl and ate the entire thing. The only dislike were the spring rolls and that a texture thing. I had the buffalo chicken sliders and wedge. Cole slaw came in the sliders and I typically don't like Cole slaw but it was all So good! My father in-law had the oxtails. That plate was emptied clean into his belly lol. My mother in-law had fried shrimp, beans, Cole slaw and wedges. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. We also ordered strawberry cake, lemon cake and cookies. The cookies are baked fresh to order. My in-laws are gone but my 6 and 11 y/o have already asked us to go back! WOWzers. There's a shared but open parking lot, so it's not hard to find a spot. It's a warm atmosphere inside because the owner or manager has his young kids helping. There's simple decor on the walls, several tables and even a bar counter-stool seating option. There's a steady stream of people coming in and people leaving with smiles on their faces. This place is such a gem!

Ordered take out from here and it was my first time here! I had read quite a few reviews about how good the food was! So, I was expecting that. OMG, my expectations were met and then some!!!! The food was GREAT! Generous portions and made to order! That's what I truly enjoyed, made to order. I was torn between Oxtails and Southern Fried Chicken, so I ordered both and shared with my husband. I grew up eating Oxtails as a child and adult and to find Vegan Oxtails, what a treat! The only thing I wish is that I lived closer to the restaurant. I live S/E, but I won't let it stop me from coming back!!! I am looking forward to dining in soon. All Praises!

My daughter is vegan and really loves this place. I brought her here for lunch. I'm a skeptic when it comes to vegan food being a normal regular eater. The food was good. By the time you add up your order it's pretty pricey.I'm not sure I understand their working hours. Don't plan on eating dinner there. They close at 6:00 PM.Overall it was a decent experience. Made my daughter happy so hey, why not?

Excellent food! All you vegans out there, this restaurant is plant base heaven. Give it a try and it will become a favorite. Not only is the food tasty, fresh and plentiful, the atmosphere is adorable, and the staff are so friendly ?
