Beware! Prices are high and they automatically charge you 20% gratuity on meal and taxes. They also don't have menus, you have to order off an app that you scan at the table and pay on the app with your credit card. My meal ended up being $30.00 but the food and drink was actually 23.00. Will never go back- not worth it!

Love this place!! Great ambiance, service was wonderful and oh the food! I had the smoked salmon scramble and it was scrumptious! The salmon was cooked to perfection, the eggs were scrambled and seasoned just the way I like and the capers... just delectable on the whole. The sangria was yummy and my latte was perfect. Nice to have options for milk substitutes as well, for those of us who are lactose unfriendly lol Ordering on an app as a group can be a little tricky, in terms of getting your food at the same time, but since I was STARVING, not having to wait on my girls' chicken and waffles to be done was actually a win today lol And it was worth the wait for them (and me) - the fried chicken was SO good. Crisp, flavorful skin and moist, well-seasoned meat. Delicious! I will be back again soon to try one of those bennies next!

Absolutely the best Brunch I’ve had! My lady and I came out here this morning, staff is super friendly, you order and pay through a QR code so not much human interaction. Food is absolutely amazing, got a whole bottle of sparkling wine with orange juice for $20 or so buck. 6-7 mimosas. Will definitely be returning every weekend!

Some friends and I were excited to come to this place, we checked in it's page and is said it was open, when we got there it was closed with no notes or explanation what it was closed. That is just a boomer.

Overall the food was bland and pricey. But the environment was fun.

Have to admit I wasn’t to sure about the food. Idk why but , let me tell you the fish sandwich with the papas was so good too ! the pancakes were awesome! Would definitely come back plus the mimosas were damn good ! The ambience in the front is one thing but once you walk to the back and realize how big the place is really just pulls you in to sit down and relax. We were seated towards the very back. Fans on sun out little umbrellas were all up the music matching with the beautiful day was great. Thanks for the food and the chill vibezzzzzz

This marked my second visit to this spot. Initially, drawn in by the delightful mimosas during my first visit, I couldn't resist a return. Seated in the enchanting back garden, parasols sheltered us from the sun, and fans kept pesky flies at bay. The team's warm hospitality and engaging conversations enhanced the experience. Ordering via the app did test our patience, resulting in a delay for our food. However, the manager (or so we presumed) graciously presented a mimosa kit as a gesture, a thoughtful touch that we appreciated. Once the dishes arrived, the breakfast platter and brunch nachos lived up to expectations, earning praise from my guests, with one declaring it the best meal in San Antonio. Despite the initial hiccup, I would unquestionably revisit for brunch.

Read all the reviews before coming. Decided to come for mimosas and was sceptical on getting the food due to reviews. But let me tell you! This place has amazing brunch nachos and the countless options for mimosa flavor mix-ins were so good. We got there at like 830-9 and stayed til close at 2. It's a wonderful place to just drink the day away with a gal pal and eat some good snacks! They also had some cool flights of drinks that I admired from afar. We will be going back for future friend dates. Let me add we got two bottle services and the nachos. And they have legit the best priced bottle service!

Food was good. Flour tortillas were good. Salsa is good. The service is really bad. Wait staff dress liek they are serving at their home after a long night drinking, so they are dressed really bad. They should look better if they are serving food. They should Look clean and well maintained. There was a long wait for the food even though it wasnt busy or corwded, u gonna see the pics. I dont recommend this place to anyone or will b back at all.

This place is so cute. We were greeted when we were looking if we wanted to come in and were told they have complimentary mimosas once you order. This is on a Sunday at 11ish am. Richard was so friendly and great with his service. The food was just as good as the customer service. 10/10 will come again.

The service & food was amazing! Our server Richard was extremely personable & friendly. We live in Austin, & are already planning our next trip back. 10/10 recommend!

Worst service I've ever received!! The description of items on the menu are not true and will try to up charge you for things that are included like (juice for mimosas) The staff is rude! One of the staff members was very unhygienic wiped her nose while handling food!

Stiff chairs inside, but lots of outdoor space to sip coffee in nice weather.

It saddens me to write this review. I’ve been a loyal patron of Candlelight since 2011-ish. I live within walking distance so I’ve spent a LOT of time there that I don’t remember, thanks to the bottomless mimosas at the old location back in day.Candlelight has never been inexpensive, but I don’t mind paying more for quality/service/etc… now I’m paying top dollar for 2 measly slices of a 2.99 Jimmy Dean’s breakfast sausage loaf (but for these 2 paltry slices, Candlelight will charge you 4.50$). I’ve taken my dog here over the years and used to pay less for 2 HOMEMADE sausage patties, not stuff out of a plastic wrapper from H‑E‑B that was probably 50% off.Last time I was here, in October, I took my mom and my dog. I’ve bragged to my mom about Candlelight repeatedly over the years and was utterly embarrassed when she ordered the salmon Benedict…… they brought out the cheapest, thinnest English muffins a la Hill Country Fair on clearance in the bargain bin. They weren’t even toasted. The salmon that accompanied said stale English cardboard was ice cold, slimy. It was that salted, pickled, vacuum sealed plastic bag of salmon that you can get from H‑E‑B. The capers were also cold and tasted like straight up vinegar. The eggs are abysmal, like it was laid by a runt, defective chicken who died months ago.On a positive note, I ordered the garden quesadillas and they were GREAT!! ‘Twas a YUGE portion, fresh and delish. My former best friend ordered something that sucked, but she is so boring that I can only assume the dish was boring as well and that’s why I can’t recall it. Her opinion means nothing anyway, due to said boringness.I won’t be back until there is new management. I truly used to love this place (old location).
