I've dined at various Cava locations across San Antonio and have always appreciated the meal and service. However, today, my coworkers and I visited the CAVA on Basse Rd and encountered the worst customer service imaginable. The management seemed subpar and lacked proper communication skills with customers. Despite the unpleasant treatment from the manager, the staff did nothing to intervene. I strongly believe this establishment should undergo training and adhere to the same standards as other Cava locations in San Antonio before reopening. While the food quality remains satisfactory, the level of customer service is by far the poorest I've encountered.

I put an order on their app at 1200pm I work on the base and it's about a 15-minute commute. I got there early and was fine with waiting until they informed me that my bowl wouldn't be ready till 1:30 pm. That's completely ridiculous especially since I already paid. I had to leave because I couldn't wait around for an hour for one bowl since I had to go back to work.

Food is amazing! However, Service is too slow and some of the workers had an attitude. We placed an order for pick up at 12 and we didn't recieve our food til 1230!

I’m from out of state and where I’m from they don’t have CAVA. By no means was the food not good, it was tasty and I’m glad I got to try it but honestly I wouldn’t get it again. It’s just not my taste. Think of it as chipotle Mediterranean style lol.

This is my second day in the row where I did an online order and they still didn’t have it ready. Also I don’t like that they had an attitude when I came back to buy one item since they were closing soon. It isn’t my fault my order AGAIN was not ready on time which delayed everything else. I never had a problem before till now. Edit: went in today 03/29/24 and again for the third time order was not ready on time.

Order online. Put everything I wanted and when it got here it was missing dressing and the dressing maybe had 1/2 oz in it. What are you supposed to do with that. I hate doing bad reviews but my fiancé went to pick it up. He said everyone in there was rude and looked very mad. Was rude to guests…. EVEN THE MANAGER! I truly hope you all do better!! Will probably not return to this location ever again.
I love this food so much. Never been there in person but I've ordered off of Ubereats. It is SO tasty. It's way better than chipotle in so many ways. The harissa honey chicken is good w the avocado in the pita.. pita chips are a must. I'm obsessed.

I think I found a new favorite! Everything is fresh, flavorful, clean, and delicious! The menu bowls and the build your own options are all fabulous! 100% can not go wrong! The whole place was clean and well stocked. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable! This was my first (of what will be MANY) visits and she talked me through the process and menu and add on options. 1000% recommend for a filling, fresh, healthy meal.

Recently on a trip to San Antonio we stopped in to Cava for a quick lunch, however at 11:30 am everyone else had the same idea. I get that it is Mediterranean fast food but they need more than one POS as the line went out the door and the tables were soon all occupied. The online order line was even long to pick up. The utilitarian ambiance is fine and they were all working as fast as they could but they need more workers during lunch hours. I enjoyed the bowl I had as I chose the ingredients and it was all fresh and tasty. I will be back, just not for an early lunch.
