Passed by the restaurant and the name sounds so interesting I loved them up on Yelp! Glad I did. Everything was to be homemade and delicious. We have returned several time and brought friends with us when we have returned.

Been coming here for years. My favorite dish is the capellini pomodora. And the Bruschetta are super good. The Alfredo Noodles are amazing as well. Yesterday I tried the Pizza for the 1st time. Very good ! Affordable prices. Service is always great too.

So good!!! Got there during happy hour and tried the Roasted Garlic, Pesto Mushroom Bruschetta, Meatball Boat, and Fettuccine Alfredo. The best Italian food ever! Beats out places that are even more expensive. Will be back for more!!

Bread is long soft, flakey, and warm. I do appreciate the marinara sauce, it's well seasoned and not too sweet. Chicken of the chicken parmesan, was a little too rough and chewy, but beyond that great experience. Great atmosphere and reasonable price

I was pleasantly surprised, that after many many years, this little Italian American gem is getting after it. The service was great, two servers managed the floor and did well to tend to all the patrons. Our primary sever, Roberta, was very nice, attentive, and able to please my mom (who picks things that aren't necessarily on the menu ). She came around often and made sure we were pleased with our food, our drinks were topped off, and that we taken care of. The food was delicious and the portions were plenty. I had a simple spaghetti and meatball entree, and the third meatball was almost a meatball too many. My mom special ordered the chicken parm' but with garlic butter sauce. It looked pretty good...I wanted to trade at first site. The location is easy to find, ironically neighbors with a Pizza Hut. It is clean and there's indoor and outdoor seating. I won't wait to try again.

My lunches during work usually always consist of Chipotle, Chicfila, or In and Out. My coworker and I wanted to try something new instead of the same things. I've passed this location a couple of times but today we stopped in. The servers greeted us instantly! There were delicious looking cakes lined up in the middle of the restaurant tempting me as I waited for my food. The server recommended a couple of their best sellers and her favorites. I played it safe and tried the Alfredo. It was jam packed with flavor! This was everything that I didn't know I needed. My coworker got the chicken parmesan, which the server said was one of the top sellers. The chicken was crunchy and extremely flavorful. They even give you punch cards upon your visit that add up to free items on the menu. I would definitely like to go back and try some different items on the menu!

Filled our bellies with a scrumptious dinner @purplegarlicitaliancafe (Austin Highway location) tonight!Thankful to have had @mamahofmann64 serve us. I had the house red blend, my husband had the hefeweizen beer and Dad had the pink lemonade. We kicked off with the artichoke spinach dip and roasted garlic. Dad and I shared the penne pesto and had side salads. My husband had the spaghetti with meatballs and slices of sausage pesto. We brought enough food for another meal. Such great value! There's plenty of outdoor seating!

We were greeted at the door and sat at our table immediately. Service was great the whole time. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and it was very well prepared. Great prices and service.

Nice little place to come hang with friends/family. Nice outside area to just chill for a few hours. The staff was very friendly. The pizza itself was alright, nothing too outstanding about it.

Fabulous! My new favorite Italian restaurant in SA! My husband and a friend had lunch here a few weeks ago and my husband raved about the food. We took my sister to lunch today. This restaurant also serves beer, some on draught, selected wines and has a Happy Hour, M-F, 3-6pm. I ordered the roasted garlic with toast slices and loved it! They give you lots of softened sweet roastgarlic & 6 slices of toasted bread. I brought garlic home. I also ordered the meatball boat, which comes with 3 spicy meatballs and a small amount of sauce. They put cheese on the bottom of the "boat" and serve it piping hot. I liked the taste and texture of the meatballs. I was not overly fond of the sauce, which I found a little sweet. The real star of the show: fresh, barely sautéed spinach with tons of roasted garlic and a little cheese sprinkled on top. It is served with a lemon wedge. The appetizer portion was so much that I took some home. My sister ordered the eggplant Parmesan with a side of sautéed spinach in lieu of pasta. She really liked it as it was not overly breaded. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan and really enjoyed it. I wish that I had had room for one of their homemade desserts! My leftovers fed us again for supper. The waitress was wonderful and was clearly a fan of the food. She was professional although she was very busy with tables all over the room. She consistently lserved us with a smile. The restaurant is a comfortable space and reminds me of some of the older Italian restaurants we used to have, here in SA, such as Lorenzo's and Piccolo's. I sure do miss them. They have outdoor seating and a few chairs out in front of you have to wait for a table. I wish they were closer to our home but we will be back for Happy Hour one day.

Cerroni's Purple Garlic is EXCELLENT! If you didn't know, know you know. Run, don't walk to this place. It is truly a hidden gem. Upon walking in it's a little dark and the inside is smaller then expected, but you quickly forget because the customer service and greeting are LARGE! It was like being welcomed home by the family after being gone for a long time, large! Our waitress was Liv, but everyone was helping out. I actually saw a woman run food to a table that had an older couple sitting at it. The runner dropped the food then proceeded to gingerly help the older woman find her utensils, that were on the table. There was no haste or frustration. It was actually very beautiful and kind. Since it was our first time we asked Liv for suggestions. Everything she suggested was EXCELLENT. We stared with a Meatball Boat- 3 of the best tasting meatballs in the freshest wonderful marinara. I think the best mariners I have ever had ( and I make mine from scratch). We shared a small dinner salad with Italian house made dressing (again Liv's suggestion) the dressing was full of flavor. The flavors were a party in your mouth! On another of Liv's suggestions I had the penne pesto with sausage (it didn't look like it was going to taste good but BOY WAS I WRONG!) this dish has sooo much flavor. My husband had Chicken fettuccine Alfredo and said the sauce was excellent. Chicken was cooked perfectly. For desert we shared a slice of carrot cake. Sour cream frosting was not too sweet, cake moist. The servings were plentiful. Our bill was $45.00 it was almost unbelievable that food that good with an app and dessert was $45.00.

We loved this restaurant! This was our first time visiting. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious; It tasted fresh and homemade. ?? The 3pm happy hour with select half priced apps is a bonus. We sat on the patio which had plenty of seating. We will definitely become regulars here!
