Our favorite sandwich shop now! I usually get the Power Plant with jalapeño hummus though all the varieties of sandwich look delicious! Love the toasted taste and the eclectic vibe of this restaurant! This location has a great patio too, so it's great for meeting with your SO and or a friend group. Also love their baked goodies! The folks who work there give awesome service - they're all friendly and very helpful! I first visited the Austin location with my college student then when I saw the sign here in SA I was super excited! And they don't disappoint!! It's truly an awesome shop! Make it your next stop and enjoy it!!

first time i came here i loved it. the ak47 was so full of meats and cheese. gone a few times since and was let down. i ordered my ak47 with mayo and black olives added but this last visit they didnt add either of them. also such minimal amount of meat i thought i was just eating a grilled cheese. for almost $20 youd think they would do better. the staff and environment is always good though!

Favorite sub place to go! Always get my usual favorite (Chronic) but they always miss my Extra Mushrooms I ordered everytime (three times they didn't..). My last visit I order my usual Chronic again and really let the cashier know to add extra mushrooms. (We didn't have/ask for our receipt, and I think I saw the computer screen was 'right'). We got home my sub has 'KGB' written and was confused why it said that. It looked fine and normal sub til I took my bite and was confused with this taste/aftertaste. It was Horseradish..! That shocked me and I pulled out the menu, KGB had Horseradish in it! It's like the Chronic with Horseradish! Umm please not for me I love this place.! But every order is a hit and miss for me when I want the best sub experience ever..! Idk if it's the sub makers making small mistakes, but please add the 'Extra' ingredients if we want them. Attention to details is important key for good food I love the Krispy Bars..!! And the garlic sub is dope.

This just became my new favorite sub shop! Really chill spot where you can get some brews too. I tried the spicy club on garlic bread and I can't wait to go back for another. Staff seemed pretty cool and chill too. They were playing different eras of rock music while we were there but not sure if that's what they always have playing. Either way, definitely not your ordinary sun shop

We first found Cheba Hut in Colorado. We're happy to see them open now in San Antonio. The sandwiches are hearty, tasty and always interesting. The service is always attentive. I like the simple ambiance of the Cheeba Huts I have been to. If you like subs, then you'll love Cheeba Hut.

Food was very good. I met some friends there and everyone remarked about the sandwiches. Very good flavor and lots of veggies on the sandwiches. Some of the guys had theirs on the garlic bread and really enjoyed it. Service was good. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. Everyone was friendly. Drinks are self serve with some interesting options. One of our table spilled their drink and the staff was quick to come over and help clean it up. Ambiance is marijuana themed (in case you didn't get that from the name - we didn't). The sandwiches are named after different varieties of weed and the art in the walls is similarly themed. The murals are very well done. Overall a really good experience and good food. I'll likely be back soon.
