It was me and my family’s first time here, when you walk in you sit yourself and it took a while to be greeted but it was no issue. Salad was really good and that was about it. We were told it would take 35 minutes but the restaurant was completely empty but the issues didn’t start until we received our food. First slice we grabbed from our hand tossed pizza had a huge bug with long legs. We showed it to our waitress who was a very sweet old lady but her response was “ oh there’s lots of flies in the kitchen, sorry”. I tried to take a pic of the bug but they quickly took the plate to the kitchen. Safe to say our appetite was gone and we paid for only our salads/drinks and left. While we were packing up to pay and leave she also pointed out all the dead flies on the floor and windowsills. Such a shame.

While doing our taxes, we were told about Chicago Pizza...so we had to try it out. Hubby swears the pan pizzas are the best. ?Well, it was a good pizza flavor wise. But it's a little too drippy for my taste. Having the marinara sauce on top. The dough tasted like a flour tortilla to me, so that was a good thing ... I love flour tortillas. ? It was new to me, but hubby wanted a Chicago-style pizza he loved it. As long as he was content, it was all good. We will try more of what Chicago Pizza has to offer in the near future. Oh, thank you for delivering the pizza to our vehicle. It was greatly appreciated.April 18, 2014 The pizza itself was even better a few days later with habanero preserves on top. ? oh the dough was not drippy just having the marinara sauce on top was. It was a different pizza experience. A good one not bad at all.

Service was great. The main problem was my wife and I got food poisoning from the pizza.

First time here.Walked in, wasn’t greeted and told just told to sit wherever. My family and I picked a table and sat ourselves. A male server came to bring us some Menus and literally ugly stared us all at the table, did not say a word and walked away.No introduction as to who he was, if he could take our drink order or if we had any questions about the menu he would be able to assist us.We all just sat there confused looking at each other for reassurance that we all caught that.It was a little over an hour before they closed. Maybe that’s what was with the attitude but My children felt uncomfortable and asked if we could leave.Really sad and disappointed with our experience. I was really excited to find a place that served Chicago pizza. If you wanna try this place out too, good luck. Hope your experience is much better.

YOLO !!

When arriving I noticed a big boy with braids and another big boy with light hair blocking the passage roadway in the parking lot and they would not move out of the way. Very disappointed and it feels extremely disrespectful. Please correct this. I LOVE this place. Don’t mess it up with nonsense

This is truly a hidden gem. We didn't think we could find Chicago style pizza right here in San Antonio. This place has been around I believe over 30 years...they know a thing or two about making quality pizza. Absolutely loved it, very friendly staff - we can't wait to come back soon!

Best deep dish pizza in town! We always order ahead to avoid the 30 to 45 min cook time. So worth it.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!Wish I could leave ZERO STARS.I and my 10 year old son came here with the excitement and buzz for being here for the 1st time. They got our Chicago pizza completely WRONG. Do they know how to read? Apparently not.I wrote down:*1 large pizza Chicago style with half of it just pepperoni and the other half supreme. We waited 50 mins for the pizza to be made as it's Chicago style. When it arrived.. Me and my son had to search search looking all over the entire large pizza to find his just pepperoni pizza slices and it was 100% completely supreme to my son's complete disappointment.I asked for a full refund, they REFUSED. Believe it or not. They only gave us partial refund because of the breadsticks and ice tea we had while we were waiting 50 mins for our pizza to be made. They threatened to call the police and they DID. Isn't the customer satisfaction thier highest priority? Apparently not here at Chicago's Pizza.Police came and me with my very terrified 10 year old son explained what happened to the police and wanted a full refund. Of course the police sided with the crooks of Chicago's Pizza.Worst, I left $4 tip too as I ordered it online and they kept the tip too. Can you say scammed?Wasted time, wasted energy, wasted excitement, wasted time, wasted gas, wasted money for this VERY HORRIBLE experience.Hearing OPPRESSION at its finest.Never going back to Chicago's Pizza ever again.HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE and HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!Two thumbs down, way down.ZERO STARS.

We ordered 2 salads & 1 large meat supreme with onions & bell peppers NO mushrooms. When the pizza arrived it looked delicious, but I noticed that there was a lot of black stuff on it. I called our server over and I asked him "what's this"? He answered with "mushrooms". I looked at him, and I told him that I had said "no mushrooms". He stood there and blatantly lied and said that I had said "no onions". This truly pissed me off because I love onions on everything, but I cannot stand mushrooms. I literally had to pick the pizza apart to try and get the mushrooms out which was really hard since they were melted onto the cheese. That pizza ? isn't cheap. It's a shame I couldn't even enjoy it ?
