Everything went well from submitting my order, the transaction and the service from the customer friendly lady rep.The tamales were professionally wrapped and marked. The disappointment started with the flavor. A drastic change from 30 years ago. They lacked the flavor from the mixture of dried chiles and pork juice used to make the flavor pop down in Mexico.Sadly, the size of the tamales were much smaller and thinner than decades ago, not to mention there was a notable difference in the lack of pork or bean filling compared to the competition.Overall, I suggest you keep searching for an alternative place or attempt to make your own homemade tamales with a few family members or friends to help speed up the process.----SpanishStarting March 26, 2024. Not the best pork tamales...but the bean were really good..very friendly staff
26 Jan 2024 They're OK. The average price of a dozen is about $11.50. They offer many varieties. Jalapeño pork and chicken, regular pork, bean and several more. We took home pork, jalapeño pork and chicken. All pretty good. The jalapeño is not overwhelming. The tamales are on the small size. Really small when compared to those from Tellez or Ruben's. In addition to by the dozen, they offer package deals: one dozen with rice, beans and salsa, also larger packages. They have barbacoa packages as well. We have never tried the barbacoa. Maybe one day. The lot is easy to get in and out of, even on busy Culebra. The staff is friendly and helpful. Be aware, there is a 3% up charge when using credit cards. So many businesses are doing this now. Could be an incentive to carry cash. Ha, ha.

Delicious Tamales was closed!!! Went twice, to 2 different locations and it was CLOSED and didn't put this information on their website or answering machine. There were 2 other customers who showed up and had no idea what was going on. A heads up would have been appreciated. Updating business information is essential.

I’ve been going to this location for years, and always have good service. I’m actually missing one dozen out of 17 that I ordered. I’ve been calling since I got home and the recording says mailbox is full and need to call back later. I just need someone to reach back out so I can get my order, especially after spending over $200. Hopefully you will reach out and not just scroll over the review. Perhaps there’s a better number to callI was missing a jalapeño and cream cheese

I've always gone to Delicious Tamales to buy tamales for our church fellowship gatherings however I was SO DISAPPOINTED in opening 3 out of 8 dozen tamales that several tamales were so small the size of a pinky finger. And as expensive as they have gotten, you would think that the tamales would be a little fuller? No, they are not. But, someone is not doing their job right. The tamales should be inspected to make sure they are being done right and stop cheating people from their hard earn money and giving them half tamales. The owner, or manager, should make sure the people hired know how to make tamales. I don't think I will be getting any more tamales from this establishment anymore. Buyer beware check your tamales and make sure you are getting your money's worth.

Wow! Ordered vegan tamales. Size 3/4" wide by 4" length. My thumb was bigger. Usually tamales are 2" x 5". Not only were they finger size, upon unwrapping them, they fell apart. Was charged an additional $18 for handling on top of shipping. Never again. Buyer be ware, not worth it.
