This place is not the hype some people try to give it. Food was not good at all. Eat else were and get your money's worth. There are hole in the wall places that have better food.

TriI d to call in advance for my birthday, they said they don't take reservations and the entire party has to be there before they can begin the wait clock. I asked how long the wait is (on a Thursday evening) they said about 30 minutes. I haven't been here in years for that reason. You can go there and usually on a busy night the wait is a lot longer, around 75-90 minutes. There's also virtually no wait area aside from a few benches in the front. From what I remember, it's not worth the inconvenience, but I have not been able to eat here in years so I can't say if it's better or worse. 3/5 for the food 1/5 for the service

For my daughter’s bday we went to eat at Don Pedro’s. Now i personally have always LOVED it there. And don’t get me started on the margaritas! Tonight though, Ashlyn realized that she didn’t have her birthday cards from dinner Sunday night (it’s now Tuesday). She INSISTED she had placed them back in my purse; she had NOT. After searching the house and car, they were nowhere to be found. My mom suggested i call the restaurant to see if perhaps we’d left them behind. And wouldn’t you know it, the manager, Richard, said he was there sunday when we left them and was hoping we would call or come for them soon! As if i needed another reason besides the delicious food and great service to love this southside staple!!! Thank you Don Pedro’s for being a great place with stand up staff like Richard!!! We can sleep soundly tonight after getting her cards WITH cash back!!!
Ok... so food. Amazing! (Please don't fire the chef and everyone behind the scenes in the kitchen... or give them a good raise. Well deserved.) Although, the only thing I can complain about is... when ordering food to be delivered. The food delivered... was not it. I guess because of the time it takea from point A to point B, affects the taste... Dine in, BIG yes. Always leaving the place STUFFED. No room for dessert, unfortunately. Unless you share your plate, or take some home for later. Again, taste might be different.Parking: At high lunch hours, especially weekends, it's packed. Parking is available, but you gotta go around a bit, to find one. Good luck.
Always consistent with their food options and fresh. Service is fantastic and quick. Sopapillas are a must have. Really enjoy dining there.

The food was cold. Came out 3 minutes after ordering so I'm guessing pre-prepared. And the management just told me they were that good. Took it off the check but that was my dinner before going to work so I was not happy.

Well first off, i didn't even get to taste any of the food. Because the wait staff skipped over our party on the waitlist to sit bigger parties instead. I would've been happy to wait the HOUR that they made us wait if they at least said something. But instead, they tried to lie and say that they called our parties name along time ago. When FIVE OF US are waiting right next to the host stand where THEY ARE CALLING THE NAMES. How could we possibly not hear our parties name be called. Everyone was hungry. Trust me, we would've heard our party called.
