This place is literally horrible, do not go here! The food is okay and over priced, the customer service is non-existent, and when they mess up an order they invent stories, like the customers the one that’s bothering them! #TREMENDAMIERDA #NISONPUERTORIQUEÑ

The food was just okay. But let me tell you, that short, non-Spanish speaking Puerto Rican manager was incredibly rude. Can you believe it? My friend had to wait an entire hour and ten minutes for her food, and to top it all off, the manager refused to give her any kind of discount or compensation. Unbelievable! Well, let me tell you, the nine of us will never set foot in that restaurant again, and we won't hesitate to let our 180 coworkers know exactly why they shouldn't go there either.

I had El Coqui at the three kings festival downtown. They were a food sponsor. Their pernil with arroz con gandules was very very good. The arroz was amazing. I can't wait to visit the restaurant location.

El Coqui is incredible. The food is so flavorful for you will want to come back again. The buffet they offer consist of two types of rice, two types of beans, roast, pork, chicken, sweet, plantains, salad. They also have other dishes you can order to either take or dine out with. Soledad And her team are so welcoming they will make you feel like you’re at home. If you’re in the San Antonio area, I had a recommend this place.

I went here on a recommendation from a coworker. I had never had Puerto Rican food before, and now I am in love! I had the lunch buffet which included chicken, beans, and rice, and it was absolutely fantastic.
