I was running errands at lunch and as I got hungry around Huebner Oaks, I tried to go to Chipotle but it was full of lunch eaters so I decided to try Fire wok. I was hungry for ethnic food and this fit my hunger. The place was almost empty with a few stragglers finishing lunch. I ordered the first thing on the menu that caught my eye. Singapore rice noodles with shrimp. I looked around for a place to sit and got my drink, chopsticks (er, actually a fork) and napkins. I barely got back to my table my food was being walked to me by the guy that took my order! That was quick! I was hungry and pressed for time so I dug in. I had no expectations and no prior knowledge of this eatery. I literally just walked in from the street and needed something to eat. Well, what a surprise! The food was delicious and very warm - almost hot really. It was a huge serving and I did not expect to eat all of it and planned on bringing the rest for dinner. Guess what - I ate the whole thing! The noodles reminded me of what my sisters and my mother cooked when I was growing up in a Filipino family. It's not the same taste but the thin rice noodles reminded me of a Filipino dish called Pancit. It had the same ingredients, carrots, cabbage, sweet onion and green onions. So, after I ate, I went back to the same guy and ordered a Lo Mein with shrimp as take away. The ambiance inside is that of a fast food restaurant. It had rows of tables and a visible kitchen - which reminds me of a Pei Wei restaurant. I'd eaten here but next time I get food here, I'll take it to go. Overall, I was very impressed with the food. I read several reviews as I was eating the food and to be honest, I didn't get the negative reviews. Luckily, more people had positive comments than negative ones. I enjoyed my lunch. I'll come back here anytime.

Food taste different from last time different chef now . But even time I come they are cleaning the kitchen in the back kind nasty tho would be nice if the owner upgraded there kitchen and staff

There was so much going for this restaurant once upon a time. The food, portion sizes, and service were top notch. Unfortunately, all of that has dwindled away over the years. The last time we went, the food was bland and the Crab & Cream Cheese Wontons were tiny and overcooked. It’s sad to see a good place go downhill so much.

I really enjoy the food from firewok, it hits the spot in my opinion, quick and priced fair for take out. The Pad Thai could use a revamp for the flavor profile it's a little bland. Wish they would bring back the steam buns appetizers.
