I was surprised (pleasantly) that it was a food truck. The service was prompt, the portion was HUGE and my special dietary needs were honored completely. It was some of the best food I've ever had. I could eat it every day!

No I don't think this lives to its ratings. I've had better Thai food in Austin and even San Antonio. Pad Thai and pad ew were both very average. I thought service was very friendly and ambiance was nice cause it sits in a nice shaded food truck park but wasn't what I was hoping, sadly

My husband and I were in the area and wanted to try something new and different. We saw Golden Lotus at The Point food truck park and saw they had good reviews so we gave them a try. Everything was super hot, fresh and delicious! We really love the veggie rolls! We got the fried rice with shrimp, and the medium spice level, which to be honest with you was extremely hot, I would probably go with the mild next time just to not have a runny nose while I'm eating. They are definitely not stingy with the shrimp either, our rice was super full of shrimp, so you definitely get what you pay for.The guy was really friendly and was knowledgeable of the menu and how things could be prepared. My husband cannot eat pork, and wanted to make sure nothing was prepared on a shared surface, and the guy made sure that everything was good to go. Their truck is located near a little wooden deck with some small round tables, but there is plenty of other seating options if you have a larger party or want to be in the shade.

Food: had the chicken pad Thai (medium spice) and chicken fried rice (medium spice) as well as the Texas spring rolls. Massive portions. Thought it was a bit pricey when ordering but after seeing the portions, it is enough for 2 meals. Amazing flavor and was still piping hot after driving 15 minutes home Service: great service. Smile on their face even in 100 degree weather. Ambiance: it's at point park which is an awesome little oasis. We got food to go but next time will definitely be eating there when it's a bit cooler. Our Dog loved waiting for our food and sniffing around.

Best Thai food ever. The Curry is a weekly must-have. Pad See Ew is my other favorite. I can never decide what to get. Fried rice is delicious as well. If you like Thai Hot - Joseph knows how to do it right. His heat levels are spot on. Portions are enough to split or take home for the next days lunch.Love this place!!
Hands down, BEST Thai food I've ever had! This has been our Thai place for years. The chef is incredibly skilled and prices are fair. This place is a jem.We got chicken pad Thai, panang curry and Thai basil fried rice.They make accomodations to people with allergies! Chef is very knowledgeable about food allergies. I'm vegan and husband isn't. I'm very allergic to meat, eggs and dairy and I've been amazed by the way they can accommodate for me while keeping such an amazing flavor.

Food was okay, very pricey but served hot and as ordered! Chicken wing special , wings weee small and under cooked, chili sauce was a nice addition and tasty! Chicken spring rolls were over cooked and chewy, not so sure I would reorder. My wife had the KungPoa, it was hot and tasty rice was old and very dry.
