Lunch on a Tuesday was busy but we were seated within 10 minutes. I ordered the lettuce wraps and they were so good & there was enough for my meal. I also had the hot & sour soup that tasted so good with all the vegetables in the silky broth. My spouse had his usual lemon chicken with egg roll & egg drop soup. Our waitress was prompt & polite. Always a good day for lunch at the beautiful Golden Wok.

Been enjoying their food for over 2 decades. Still on our rotation for hot and fresh egg foo young (not on the menu), pan fried noddles among other dishes.

Beef and broccoli Wednesday special. A lot of food and includes iced tea. Food was very greasy. Tea was weak. Fried rice was great. Beef and broccoli was very tasty.

This place stays busy for a reason! I wish there were more locations. All the dim sum is spectacular! My daughter loves the sweet and sour chicken, me too!!! It’s cooked really well! The sauce is super flavorful! They have beautiful koi fish the kids can feed in the entrance!

Have been a customer for over 20 years. The service has continuously gone down hill the last three times we were here.We use to brag about Golden Wok to our friends and family. The food is always great.Today the 20th of April we waited well over an hour for our food..They were not packed.Manager says they lost our order. We did not have to pay for our drinks and appetizers. We will not be coming back.

Hostess and waiting staff are great ? of course, the cooking staff because their preparation of the food is phenomenal ?However, I can't tell who the manager is because they never come around to see how everything is going with the food and service, just like in other restaurants.

Sichuan shrimp and scallops were horrible. Look at another picture. It was soup and not a Chinese dish. The manager came out and was mad because I wanted it cooked right. The scallops were fishy and not seared as well. They do fried rice and Special wonton soup well but they need a new kitchen manager. The Chinese guy was rude. Most likely was Korean and not Chinese.

My first date with my wife was a Dim Sum brunch. Ever since it's been a favorite. This Dim Sum place is good enough that any time we go from Austin to San Antonio we come here for Dim Sum.

Love this place. Friendly. Consistent. Comfortable. Great staff. Very affordable. Good range. You do need more vegetarian dishes and I wish you'd bring back the miso soup with noodles it was the best dish so many loved it. This is a great restaurant and so well run. You will have a consistently good experience if you go. Highly recommend for any time of day.Vegetarian options: Need to have more vegetarian. Bring back the miso noodle soup everyone loves that.

Golden Wok is renowned for its delectable dim sum offerings, tantalizing patrons with its exquisite steamed and fried dumplings. However, my recent dining experience was marred by a significant service lapse that left a bitter aftertaste.Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was met with a long queue and a harried staff. After finally being seated, I was ignored for an extended period before a waiter reluctantly took my order. To my dismay, several of the dim sum items I had requested were unavailable, leaving me disappointed. The food itself was undoubtedly exceptional. The steamed shrimp dumplings were succulent and encased in delicate wrappers. The fried chive dumplings burst with flavor, while the rice noodle rolls were a masterpiece of textures. The portions were generous, leaving me ample leftovers to savor at home.Unfortunately, the exceptional quality of the food could not make up for the poor service. Our food orders were delivered at irregular intervals, with some dishes arriving cold. When I inquired about the missing items, I was met with curt responses and disdain. The staff seemed preoccupied and dismissive of our needs, creating an unpleasant and stressful dining atmosphere. To summarize, while Golden Wok undoubtedly serves some of the best dim sum in town, the lackluster service severely detracts from the overall experience. The restaurant has the potential to be an extraordinary culinary destination, but it is imperative that they address their service issues to elevate their establishment to its true potential. Until then, patrons may find their dining experience compromised by a lack of attention and efficiency.

Absolutely love their food! It's always a stop for me and my family every time we go to San Antonio! We always get take-out but you can see them cooking food when you walk it which is fun to watch while you wait for your food. The employees are so polite and welcoming. I've never had a bad experience from this restaurant.

Came here with my boyfriend and we ordered dim sum + entrees! The pad thai was amazing and the lo mein was pretty good too, I think it just needed a little bit more seasoning but we came at a good time because it wasn't packed at all, and we didn't have to wait! Would definitely come again
