Stayed at the resort over Christmas break, and this was one of the restaurants on site. It was very relaxed and we were some of the only people. It was perfect. The beer and food was delicious and our waiter was super cool. Thanks!

Friendly bartender and a nice menu with some great bar food options. Good well thought out beer selection. Unfortunately when we were there they were working on the tap beers and they weee not cold.... So went for a canned beer instead. Beef Brisket Sandwich was EXCELLENT!!

Wow, our experience certainly didn't live up to the hype we've seen in other reviews. First, we walked in and the place was empty at 6PM on a Friday night. We stood gazing at the empty dining room and spotted two people at a table playing cards. Turns out those were the employees ignoring the fact that we just walked in. We stated we had a reservation and they seemed surprised. We we told to we could sit anywhere so we grabbed a table by the fire which was cozy. It went down hill from there, mostly small stuff like ordering water with no lemon which was ignored. Then we realized the menu was far from the one we had seen online. I'll chock this up to Covid fallout and us not ensuring we were on the official La Cantera site. Once we got acclomated to the menu, which was pretty limited to sandwiches, we ordered the brisket sandwich and the all American burger. Despite asking to hold the onions, there they were on my burger. The brisket appeared to be roast meat, but it's possible they did some magical transformation that managed to reduce the texture and flavor of an amazing brisket down to mere roast meat. Then there was the Garlic Parmesan fries - it turns out their idea of Garlic Parmesan fries is to pour nacho cheese on fries. When asked if we got the right fries, the waitress just said, that's the way we have always served them — like I'm supposed to know that this high priced restaurant serves the same crap the local roast beef diner has for 1/3 the price, under a different name. That all said, the roast sandwich and the burger were decent - not an $18 burger for sure, but decent compared to others serving a $12 equivalent. Needless to say, we were generally disappointed and won't be back - not because of the food that was just okay, not because of the limited menu, but more because of the service. This place sells itself as an upscale sports bar and neither the ambience or service meets that expectation.

We had the best and friendliest server. Ask for Diego, he's got ya covered.

I'm not sure if the place typically has a limited menu or if it was because of a large event; however, the spicy chicken sandwich was amazing, along with some tasty seasoned fries! I would come back for a chicken sandwich in the future for sure!

Management has really let this place slip. I used to enjoy going here but now, not so much. Beers are warm, recipes are now frozen food, wings are probably some of the worst in town and service is hot and miss.

Diego was great and super attentive, he made sure we were able to watch our football game comfortably on Sunday. The atmosphere here was great and we enjoyed our food. Definitely coming back for football Sunday!

We visited this place on a Saturday evening during restaurant week. Keep in mind this restaurant is inside the La Cantera resort, not really off a main road. Open Table did not have available reservations from 6-8pm for a table of four, but they did for 5:45 pm. When we got there, only two tables had people in the entire restaurant. It was 90% empty. Not sure they didn't have open availability for reservations. FYI Food- chicken strips (for the kids) Chicken Wings, giant pretzel, salads and burger. All the food was tasty, but the star of show were the wings. They were breaded and contained the perfect crisp . Plus they have happy hour on Saturdays too (these were on the happy hour menu.) Drinks: Margaritas on the rocks were made to perfection and were an excellent Service- was just okay. This would be a good place for happy hour. Overall this place is more likely 3.5 but I couldn't justify to give them a 4.

Went in for the Brunch for Hunger campaign, my pulled pork hash was delicious. The service was perfect, friendly waitress, greeted with a smile and served quickly.
