Absolutely the worst service experience. I ordered noodles, veggies and chicken. I didn't think I'd have to watch what was put on my plate. I paid, sat down immediately went back because I was given rice. I spoke to the self proclaimed manager "Raul" who refused to give me his last name. Refused to fix the order, and refused to give me a refund because "trust me you said rice" so apparently I didn't know what I wanted to eat. I left the food. Absolutely ridiculous, unprofessional and rude over $12. You need some training in the customer service and food industry Raul. Do better or you won't be successful in the industry.

I recommend the Special Pho in Hot Stone Bowl! I've been dreaming of it ever since I tried it for the first time last month. It has oxtail, beef rib, and steak, and the whole soup gets served to you still bubbling to perfection. This is one of those meals you could probably share too based on how hungry you are. And for that price you can't beat it.

I ordered the pho and lemongrass chicken. The food tasted old and reheated it was bland and not worth the $28. Very small servings. Lemongrass chicken was gross, I don't recommend this place. Super expensive for low quality food. Try another pho restaurant.

Cleanliness & service were below par. The tables were not cleaned for over 40 minutes, leaving nowhere to dine in. Only 1 person working at the cashier while serving food and one person in the kitchen. The food was just ok.Will probably look elsewhere to eat pho.

Delish pho place just after church. Clean & organized, service is good. Ordered chicken & shrimp pho - their broth is really good!

Haven't been here in years and i don't know why but thankfully decided to try again because it didn't disappoint. Simple and straightforward menu. Tidy and good service. Chicken rice plate was delicious and the pho was good as well. Got the non spicy seafood pho. Shrimp spring roll with the sauce is good and didnt harden right away since i took it to-go. I only go to one certain place for pho nearby but this will be another good option.

This place is small but comes with a big bang. Everything is fresh and good.

Solid Vietnamese in the loop. Had their pork vermicelli--very tasty and good portion. I like that their fish sauce didn't taste like water. A problem a lot of places have is that they water down the fish sauce which is what makes the vermicelli bowl. Mom had their spicy soup--bun Bo hue. Flavor was ok, not her favorite but it was definitely spicy so not for the faint of heart. Looking forward to trying their pho out. They have great lunch specials too!!

Pho Place was just not it. Upon entering, the establishment was completely empty, which should have been a sign. Pho Place in San Antonio is by the 1604 loop area, and since we were in the vecinity, decided to stop for a quick lunch. The owner (we supposed he was), was wearing flip flops, not very professional or higienic. We went ahead and ordered and for the prices we suspected good portions and value. When we received the food, we could not have been more disappointed. The pork place was swimming in grease, the meat itself was half fat, and not to mention the portion was incredibly poor to say the least. None of the dishes were tasty, or worth the price. When we mentioned to the owner that the food was mostly fat, he became rude so we paid the bill - yes, he billed us for the soup of oil which was not consummed - because we had "already touched it". Needless to say, Pho Place in San Antonio was subpar in service, taste, prices, value, and quality of food. Next time, we will not enter a restaurant that is empty in the middle of lunch, as you can see in my photo below.

Very delicious! Love the sandwiches. Went there for lunch. Very reasonably priced. Support local and stop in for lunch.

I was in town for a week and was dying for banh mi, cha lua specifically. I am fortunate to have lived near a Vietnamese community in DC and was spoiled with the quality of the bread and the breadth of filling options. San Antonio seems to have a rather toned-down approach to the fabulous sandwich. Pho Place serves a lovely version with all the right fixings on a tasty bread with a good chew. The Vietnamese egg rolls were sublime! Divine crunch, no grease, delightful flavours, and a perfectly balanced sauce. I would have eaten here far more often, but I have lame travel companions.

It is good. I had a cool spring roll with shrimp-delicious (probably my favorite thing), a crispy friend spring roll, and a bahn mi sandwich. Bahn-mi was bomb! Bread was soft and chewy and pork was tasty. Looking forward to cooler weather to try the pho.

Amazing restaurant. It is one of the best in the whole area, but they close at 9pm (the sun is still out during summer). .

Dumplings and pork rolls with the Hoisin sauce were top notch! I could eat my weight worth in those rolls. The special pho in the hot bowl was so cool. You get raw meat on the side and the bowl is so hot you watch the meat cook in the broth! Delicious. I got the Spicy Beef bowl, super good too. Really good quantity of noodles and beef! Not pictured my sister ordered a peach tea which she loved! Cleanliness could be improved, I dropped the reusable chopsticks and picked them up to find a large dust bunny with hair entangled on chop sticks. This can be remedied with a quick sweep or vacuuming daily!

The restaurant is located within a small shopping mall strip, and it looked good from the outside. Upon ordering the food did come out hot but it's very mediocre, nothing to write home about. The soups do come with their traditional sides and a good size portion for lunch but more broth than noodles and main proteins. Had a coupon for a Tea for that specific restaurant and was told that it was no longer valid even though I had just gotten it off of yelp that day. Restaurant is run by a husband and wife couple who were nice but could use some more work in the kitchen.
