From the minute we walked in the door this lovely restaurants mission statement was evident. The most thoughtful pizza possible and a fantastic culture from the team. Everything was delicious you can count on us to come back!

Il Forno ROCKS. Unique pizzas with fresh, interesting ingredients. The menu rotates often. They cure their own meats in house. The wine menu isn't too too extensive but all the wines are thoughtfully chosen and the staff is always knowledgeable on the offerings and what pairs well with what- they also always let us sample before choosing what glass/bottle we'll get that day. We have never once been disappointed in the food we've ordered- like I said, Il Forno rocks. The space is also remarkable- very impressive home grown DIY herb and vegetable garden exterior, simple stone slab floors and concrete wall interior. It can be hard to come by restaurants that genuinely put heart into what they do, and Il Forno is definitely a gem in that regard. Il Forno... rocks.

good but a little mixed I had the Parma that has garlic sauce versus red sauce. I was expecting the prosciutto to be cooked on the pizza. Basically it was like a bread salad with sliced prosciutto. We didn’t like it. But luckily my nephew had the Copa and added pepperoni and it was very delicious.

Great place for good pizza and beer. Can get a little loud for casual conversation. Beer selection wasn't bad other than they ran out of draft which was my preference. Overall, it's a solid recommendation.

It had been a minute and a half since I had eaten at Il Forno(2019). I am glad they are still alive and well. I was there for the happy hour special. I got a margarita pizza for $8 and a pint of beer for $4. The happy hour ends at 6:30pm. The pizza was very good and satisfying. The beer was good value. The service was excellent. I got everything I needed. The parking is limited to street parking. It's a great place for a big group,small group or just yourself. I would recommend giving them a try if you are in the South Town area.

Went for the lunch specials. Amazing service and friendly staff in a fun atmosphere! But unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Our food was charred for ascetic I guess, although I'd say it was just burned. As for dessert, the chocolate mousse tasted bland with a chalky and grainy texture.

Be aware, prices of the menu change according to demand! YES! Depends on the day, depends on the time. I think that’s terrible. Taste is really really good, service is not great, there’s still room for improvement, but it has potential. Pizzas are fantastic, ice cream is not as flavorful as it should be.

After several hours of playing at Hemisfair park, we were looking for pizza. Yelp reviews had this ranked high and close by and it did not disappoint! Warm olive appetizer was yummy and something we had never tried before. The caprese salads were so fresh and shareable amongst 3-4 people. But the pizzas were the highlight! We ordered 4 pizzas for 10 of us and it was just the right amount. The Quad and Parma were our favorites but the Americana and Carbonara were great too! We wanted to sit outside but the sun was really warm today. The inside is very quaint and smelled so good. Plus we were able to easily sit our large group. I would certainly recommend this spot for pizza!!
