You would be amazed how hard it is for some places to make a proper veg sandwich. This shop proved itself to be a pleasant exception. Young men who made my sandwich were prompt and professional, and the sandwich is perfect. Very rare, in my experience.

I'm impressed by how little the employees at this location care about the customer or getting the order right. No hello or smiling faces upon arrival. Ordered one of the sandwiches with NO TOMATOE. The guy is literally there listening, the cashier repeats "NO TOMATOES"...yup, the guy proceeds to add TOMATOES. Walked out and gave it to a homeless guy. I know, I should not expect any better from a bunch of college kids so that's on me. Not that they care but will not ever go back.

Flat out forgot half of our sides, disregarded any inclusions we added to our sandwiches, and charged us for them. They also forgot a drink of ours and then made us pay for another one, even though it was on the receipt. Employees were kind, but they were a little forgetful ?

They always lock the door at like 8p. And I will add pictures of the Vito i received with two pieces of salami and i slice of turkey. Which is not what the sandwich is. The vito is supposed to have like 3 different

Went today and as usual they were quick. I’m used to the McCreeless location. At this on Main was a let down. I ordered a Cuban and requested no lettuce but they ended adding lettuce. I took the sandwich back two (2) times to get it correctly the way I paid for food the way I requested. They people working made it seem like I was being unreasonable. Which is insulting, inconsiderate to me as the customer and ridiculous.

Went here while on vacation because our son (who had been sick for 2 days) thought he could eat a sub. We ordered him an Italian but only wanted meat and cheese. Once we got it back to the Airbnb, it was slathered with mayo, lettuce and tomatoes, too. My 11 year son wouldn't eat that, so we pulled off the meat to try and salvage dinner for him.It bugged me that they made it incorrectly, so my husband called in to talk to them. Victoria told him to come back in, but we were exhausted so we said we'd be in tomorrow for the correct sandwich. No worries, they hung up. Then, they called back to say that we would have to pay for a sandwich because we weren't bringing the other one in. What? You messed it up, you should make a new one. That's it.
Horrible, slow service. Crew definitely did not want to be there. Even got an eye roll when asked for a bag . ( it was take out after all) . Man bun behind counter would be better off on mom’s couch playing video games. I visit JJs probably once a week. I’ll stick to the Alamo Heights Broadway location where they are actually friendly and support our military.

I called to ask what was the hold up and they said that their delivery guy was "on the way", but had to do 9 deliveries. Had I known it was going to take this long, I would have ordered else where or gone to pick it up. Never coming back here again.

Usually takes longer than I would like and generally they get my order wrong most times but I don't find out until I get home. I only come here for emergency sustenance so I don't expect much. Not sure why I felt the need to come here and express how utterly unimpressive this sandwich shop is.
