Low key casual French dining in a part of San Antonio that has history. Staff is super casual, attentive and friendly. Pork and lamb dishes were really nice as was the Beef Bourguignon sample the chef sent! I was surprised they had a ‘14 BV Cab on the wine list! Delicious!

Great Happy Hour specials. The drinks were well crafted and delicious. The truffle fries and hummus fantastic. The French onion soup was 1 of the best I have had in a long time. Highly recommended and do not think you would be disappointed.

We learned of Julias on from an episode of Diners, Drive Inns, and Dives, so we decided to try it as we were passing through San Antonio. We went for Sunday brunch. I had shrimp grits, which were amazing! It's just spicy enough to make it interesting.Parking: Be sure to check behind the restaurant for parking.

A wonderful eclectic French bistro on Blanco. Reasonable prices and delicious food. French themed but with Texan influences.

Coincidentally, after hearing a lot of good things about Julia's, we went on the night that the restaurant was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We sat at the bar and Jason served us great cocktails and the food was fantastic. The surge in clientele did not slow down the service but considering the age of the building there was not a lot of sitting room. This is my personal opinion but I feel like San Antonio is lacking in French cuisine that is approachable. Julia's changes that narrative offering a cozy atmosphere, a great happy hour and a very well rounded experience.

I've been trying to bring my husband here for a while. He seemed disinterested because he mistakenly believed it to be a brunch venue only. And he works as a sous chef and a competing brunch spot here . OMG ?, he couldn't believe the most awesome dinner we shared last Friday night. Starting with the French onion soup, which he has made himself,he said they have elevated it to an art form,he actually lifted the bowl to drink all the wonder elixir, not sparing a drop. He's still talking about the lamb shank. It was beyond anything as far as a dining experience that we shared recently. I tried the beet salad, I've never tasted beets before, but including arugula, candied walnuts , goat cheese and a wonderful house dressing was the best introduction. I also suggest the craft drink French 76. Tink was an attentive and friendly server. We'll be back.

J'adore Julia's. This is a quaint place to take a special someone....the food is always amazing, the wines are wonderful and there isn't a single one that won't pair perfectly, the service is always personal (Tink you are truly an artist!) and may I just say La Peche, parce que la vie sans St. Germaine n'est pas une vie. Merci François for another wonderful evening!

The happy hour from 5-7pm here is one of the best in town without a doubt with $6 shareable plates and 20% off bottled and draft beer. The seared salmon was amazing and our server was so attentive and kind! Will definitely be coming back

Food is so good, but they haven't been open to the public the last 3 times. My friend and I have tried to dine in. I'm not sure of their schedule at this point. It's disappointing driving all the way over, only for it to be closed.

This is our go to spot if we want a nice dinner out. The staff here are always so friendly and make us feel so welcome. The food is great, consistent, and reasonably priced. My standby order is always the French 76 which is the best champagne cocktail I've ever had! They use empress gin and but lavender bitters in it. YUM! The truffle fries are so worth it, do not skip them. And they also have my favorite salad in town - grilled caesar! I usually get the salmon and my husband loves the pork tenderloin. When I'm feeling fancy I get Duck Confit and it is consistently the best one in town! They got a new chef recently and they are adding some new menu items like a house made gnocchi. I mean, how am I gonna say no?! Holly recommended that I could just add salmon to it and make it an entree - and that become my new go to. Thanks, Holly! I love a place where you can trust the recommendations! Daniel always has the best wine recommendations, and we are never disappointed with what we drink lol. The whole team does a spectacular job and we just love having such a gem right down the road.
