This is a slightly late review. I had a conference to cater last month. It was on Monday when the kolache stop is closed. I called and spoke to the owner to see if they would be ok to buy on Sunday, but serve the next day. After a few minutes, he told me he would coordinate so I could get them fresh Monday morning. He was too proud of his product to let them be served next day. And boy does he have a reason to be proud! Absolutely amazing. I had at least 10 people find me to ask here the kolache were from. Extremely impressed and will be a repeat costumer!PS I did have some leftover the next day...and they were still delicious ?

Absolutely fantastic kolaches. Service is fast and friendly. I can recommend the strawberry cream cheese kolache and the pineapple kolache. I'll return next weekend and try some of the other ones :)
The kolaches although it looks like made the same day are batched in the back of the counter and cold by the time that they get ordered. They microwave it in front of you for a few seconds - you are lucky if your sausage is warm. The cinnamon roll is way too sweet but the size is good for $5.My recommendation for the Kolaches is to find a way to keep them warm and fresh as they come out of the oven, dont over supply for not enough demand. Again, keep them as fresh as you can and as warm as you can for your demand. I really thought that they would be warm out of the oven and was disappointed that they were not.

Best Kolaches in town!!! Whether sweet or meat kolaches this place has them all. They also started serving their huge cinnamon tolls again! The owners and staff are very friendly as well and service is quick too.
My wife mentioned that there are Czech people here in Texas, so I searched and found a few Cafe's and restaurants. One of them where we were yesterday in Corpus Christy but it was closed. Today we stopped by the Kolache stop. They had savory and sweet kolaches, a very traditional Czech pastry.

Wonderful traditional fruit kolaches! My Dad's family made the rolled version but we love this kind too! Our traditional family favs are prune, apricot and poppyseed. I will have to remember to preorder prune! Tried the fig/cream cheese since there were no prune. It was delicious! Box a mixed dozen (a bargain!) and my mom/sisters were so happy! Glad I stopped in today (1/7/24) on my way in from Boerne.
