Guys definitely recommend this place. As soon as you come in you see all their cute and artisan tableware. We were greeted by the sweetest server as well. They had big food portions and weren't even able to finish all our food. They make their tortillas and bread at the restaurant. Greatly recommend their tortas they are delicious ? their tacos were huge too! ? they do offer mixed drinks and karaoke after 5 till they close so go on over and show some support to this small bussiness.

Soi don’t make reviews unless I hate something or love something that I want to share and Honestly the best Mexican restaurant in San Antonio I lived here all my life and this is top tier .We dined in and everything in there was perfect .A good vibe ,delicious food , excellent service ..Only problem is that I wish I knew about this place sooner..I will be a reoccurring customer .
Great service. Food had a lot of flavors. They make their own tortillas and bread in store. Super servings we came for the order of tacos and their tortillas were about 8 inches. We got the skewers as well and those were also delicious ? greatly recommend. Will be coming again! Give them a try guys!
My gal pals and I tried this restaurant. Ok food was not that great..I got a horrible response from the owner or office staff. Food rating 4 at best. Sauces they brag about are nothing but ordinary. Rating on the total experience was a 3 at best. Going back to try again maybe they were having a bad restaurant day. Will update review

I hate to leave this review because actually the food here is great but me and my wife food out about this place on Friday night and fell in love with the food here so we decided to come back the next Saturday morning to get more and so we call in a order and I sent my wife to pick it up and when she returned she said it came out to $115 and I was like we only ordered 2 plates 2 tortas 2 fish tacos and 2 drinks so we called back later on when we had a chance and admitted to it but only said they can refund back $16 mind you they over charged us $40 but never again will we return here because for the simple for they knew because on the phone they already discussed it before we call and was blaming the owners son and had ever excuse in the book and you don't play with peoples money like that I feel like they do this here often but nobody catches it just be honest and you will have a better business all around
If u don’t try their tortas before you die, u didn’t get to really live. Best torta I’ve ever had, on both sides of the border. It will feed/stuff 2 people. They make their own flour tortillas and torta bread, as well as their salsas!!!!!! Hidden gem 4 sure!

My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant. It is a very nice place to enjoy a delicious meal from Guadalajara. We were very impressed how flavorful our food was. We will definitely be coming back with more of our family members so they can enjoy LA Calavera experience as well!
