I was hungry for spaghetti so I found this place on google for takeout. The spaghetti wasn’t bad but it’s wasn’t great either. The bread was a little hard. I also ordered stuffed mushrooms which made up for the spaghetti but I wish I had more of them.Parking: The parking is very small as is the restaurant.

Sad experience today! We have loved this spot for a while now. It one of my sons' favorite places to eat. Today is his birthday, and this is where he begged to eat. We tried for an hour and a half to make a reservation, 4 times the phone was picked up and put down. No hello, no La Sorrentina, simply set down so you could hear what was going. After that, the line was busy. So we headed that way, walked in at 6:15 to be told no walk-ins, they were completely booked. They had 3 large tables, 5 plus and one 2 top. I guess they don't need business. The "server" looked more ready to fight me than to be of service. The tables that were sat looked frustrated and not attended to. It was a blessing in disguise, we end up at Umberto's for the first time, they answered the phone! Don't know that we will be back to La Sorrentina again!

It's a very tiny restaurant and very hidden. Food comes out piping hot and delicious. Great for a family dinner or date night.

Located on Culebra St across the street from St. Mary's University this place is a hidden gem. What the interior lacks is definitely made up for in taste. I had the lasagna and the presentation was appetizing and the portion was generous. The food was served hot, fresh and tasted delicious The combination of beef, Italian sausage and creamy cheeses and seasoning were perfect. The tables are set in white linen topped with a red topper. The heavy silver cutlery is wrapped in a white linen napkin. The atmosphere is modest but the food is top notch.

Our friends made reservations, but we’d never been. OMG, the food was fabulous. Everyone tried a different dish. I had the chicken francese , it was the best in town! Very few tables( make a reservation or you’ll be out of luck.)We found our “go to”Italian place! Friendly staff ,quiet ambiance, and dinner fit for a king.Don’t miss this little treasure!
