Food was okay, not great but not bad. Certain items were definitely better than others. Coffee was really good! Service was horrible. Our waitress took a very long time to an acknowledge us and take our drink order and then a very very long time to bring our drinks or anything we asked for. She was very unfriendly. Service was so slow the table behind us got their food before they got their drinks / sides and still left immediately after, they did not even touch their food. There was an older gentleman/ waiter he was very friendly and he ended up bringing us everything we needed and right away. Not worth the 30min drive.

It was nice little spot for lunch , It was my first time here so I went with the enchiladas to be on the safe side and the rice and beans, fresh tortillas and of course I tasted the mole as well and that had a great taste not spicy which is good for me. San Antonio always has some good Mexican places I haven't been disappointed yet.

Got horrible food poison, me and my wife. We think it was from the beans since my son didn't have any and he seemed to be alright. We have been sick for 2 days. Definitely ruined our first experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would, I have been going to this restaurant for 21 years with my family. I went on Saturday and from the moment we sat down it started horrible. We sat and waited to be seen or our drink order taken and other tables that got there 5 min after us got their drink order taken before us and when I make a face about it I'm told I'm waiting on several tables I will get with you. Then we are served chips and salsa and my son and nephew are eating them and a DEAD ROACH is in the middle of the batch. I'm making eye contact with the server and not one is assisting I get up and take it to the kitchen and no apology or anything they take the chips and just start discussing the roach and staring at my table. I get up to go pay for my drinks because at that Point I'm not eating the food I get asked so you don't want your food ummm no that's disgusting then by the MANAGER she tells me just go ahead and go with still NO APOLOGY still. I will never go back and neither will my family after I sent them the picture of the dead roach in the chips. Do better and clean your restaurant properly to avoid this for other customers in the future.

I visit this place during the week all the time and the food is great during the week I came for the weekend and order a parrillada which I thought would be great as well. However it was just full of potato and hot dog sausage. few pieces of meat were around the plate. For the price I was very disappointed I wish they could take this review into consideration.

What a great little place, actually a big place. Don't let the entrance throw you off because you can come in two different ways. But find yourself a table and a friendly waitress and Order up a stack of tortillas and a stick of butter! Great tortillas tacos were nice and stuffed. They have a breakfast special for tacos for I think it was $1.59 or $1.79 with quite a selection. I did pay regular price for the pork chop taco, but they chopped up what looked like a whole pork chop, the flavor was fantastic I'll definitely make it over there for that if nothing else. Great beans, sausage and egg, chorizo and potatoes. Red salsa was great, not too hot but flavorful. The green sauce is FANTASTIC if you like the heat. I was crying but they were happy tears. Everyone was super friendly, and good luck trying to get past the wall of pan dolce (Mexican baked goods) without getting at least one thing. I've never seen that many choices of campechana. We swore we were going to make it out of there without anything but we all got at least two things on the way out LOL, and you know what? No regrets!
