We went in. Business slow maybe 10 t0 12 tables had customers. Got a table my wife and daughter and myself. It took 15 to 20 mins. To be waited on. I ever wave at the waiters for service. Food was good. I told the waitress. Were are my tortillas that comes with my hveos Ranchos plate . She say s oh you want tortillas? Well yes comes with the order. I told her toast them double sides. If not I will return them back. I got then back the same. My picaillo taco tortillas was not cooked as required. I gave up on this location. It's needs to have proper supervision. In the front and kitchen. The location on west Ave. Is great so is the food. Waiters are polite .Austin Hwy is not .they act like they don't see you. Don't want to hear nor see. Me. I have been there before it was bad also. .customers will stop going due to the service. No need to have a petty place if the service is that bad. But we tip her well, but we andvthe rest of my family will ever go back again. Ever my daughter said sorry dad .you told her .and show her how you wanted it done, I feel like they did care.. we go out alot to eat. We all will tell my story to all my friends and family and wife and daughter. Not to go too that location. Many others restaurants around. Austin Hwy. Thank you for getting my comment. Don't be fooled by the drive-through window. This place is not fast food. You'll pay a tip for table service, but you'll be happy to do it. Go inside, sit down, and wait for the efficient servers to come to your table. He or she will bring you REAL silverware, cloth napkins, and a bottomless helping of chips and salsa. The dinner plates are around $11, but weekly specials make it much cheaper. We once got enchilada plates on a Wednesday for $2.99! Follow them on Facebook to see the Wednesday specials. My favorite dish is the enchiladas crema: shredded chicken cooked with tomatillos and smothered in a white, creamy sauce. In addition to the food (which comes out of the kitchen lickity-split), they have a full bar and about eleventy-seven kinds of margaritas. They even have live music on certain nights! This is our go-to place for weeknights when we don't feel like cooking and we've never been disappointed.

We unfortunately had a gentleman server that couldn't careless about his service to my husband and I . Never brought us our lemon for our tea , never came back for anything period !! Dropped out food and noticed him being very attentive to other tables and just ignored us , we are seniors and it seems that this happens quite often to elders ..I mentioned this to this cashier who appeared to be a manager , he had no response ! Sorry we went there .. last time !

The staff was very rude and when asked if we could get someone to wipe off a table so we could sit down we were told rudely that we are all busy and not even the common courtesy to look up then preceded to roll eyes and give a dirty look when we left. Awful awful awful. So disrespectful. I would not recommend this location to anyone. All people should be treated with respect and this staff needs to learn manners!!!!

I enjoy treating myself every couple of weeks here. Sitting in the bar area is nicer for me. But don't like it when they drag a mop or things into the dining area.

I just get here skipped order on talk I can't talk I'm deaf then go to window they told me you need to inside restaurant They won't let me order on thu-dr because they can't get communication with me because I'm DA deaf community they won't get me order they broke ADA law by disability people deaf

The best combination of both food and service I've ever recieved from Las Palapas. The staff all the way down to bussers are all such kind people. Highly recommend this Las Palapas. Never had a bad experience here.
