Lin's Express was awwmazing. That's a contraction for awesome and amazing. I moved in the area about a little less than a year ago, and yes I will be truthful and honest as always. I passed by this restaurant, judging it strictly on the passed reviews others had left. Well, I don't really care for Panda express, as that's just not Chinese food. Don't hate me please, every one is entitled to their own opinion. So, I went by Lin's and I was very impressed. Why I had waited to try it out for myself for almost a year, is beyond me. I will be back for seconds and then some. I forgot my server's name, but she was super kind and sweet and had amazing customer service skills as I was reading my Bible as I do everyday, and we carried on a nice conversation about the good book. Leaving a great impression and the food was fast, and cooked yo perfection. Kudos to the chefs. God bless you all at Lin's and trust that I'll be back soon. Thank you, and thank you to all who take the time to read my reviews.

While I’ve enjoyed Lin’s multiple times in the past- I dined in today 4/4/2024 and the food had an offensive amount of garlic oil. I am someone who loves garlic and I’ll even chop extra garlic cloves- more than what any recipe calls for- but this was way too much. As soon as it was sat on the table, a strong pungent, unpleasant odor hit my nose but I chose to not complain, to avoid giving the girl who helped me a hard time. I ate one bite of my lo mein and WOW. Ya’ll, my eyes burn. Seriously. Nothing but garlic. Again, I love garlic but this was unpleasant. I couldn’t even eat the full plate because it was just too much. My lips smell like funky garlic. My tongue is sore from the excessive garlic. This is unacceptable. I was aware that Lin’s Express used garlic oil as I’ve eaten there multiple times in the past but this was so bad that I won’t return after today. I feel like throwing up because the smell is still lingering. I brought my leftovers home and it literally took 2 minutes for the entire kitchen to rink like pungent garlic. Usually garlic is pleasant but not this. 3 hours after the meal and the inside of my nose is burning from all of the garlic oil. Never had this happen before. The crab Rangoon was sweet rather than savory- making it unenjoyable for me. And the spring rolls were mushy inside and also had too much garlic oil.Whoever was in the kitchen today messed up big time. Unfortunately.

We have been looking for a good Chinse restaurant in the Alamo Ranch area and so far we have found a great Vietnamese Restaurant but all the Chinse restaurant have no flavor. We tried the Lins Express as well as the Buffet they have off the 1604, Shenfield access road. We were very disappointed.

The rice tasted like it had gone bad and the sauce the chicken and vegetables were in tasted off. Not only was the price higher, the container smaller, no soup, and it tasted bad. Last time for me.

I have heard good things about this place so I thought I’d give it a try it’s not bad for price and they give you alot of food but the taste is mediocre at best I had lemon chicken and lo main the Chicken was dry and kinda chewy and didn’t really have much flavor and noodles tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp , the pork egg rolls were tasty but I mean it’s hard to mess up a good egg roll but I feel there is definitely room for improvement

I ordered via Uber and had it delivered. They did not disappoint. The order came hot, swiftly and it was tasty! I ordered chicken & broccoli with fried rice. I added in the notes that I wanted chicken fried and that's exactly what I received. It was delicious!

The fried rice is flavorless and has nothing else in it and the orange chicken has chewy weird parts

I ordered online for the food to be ready in 30 minutes. When I got home from a 3 minute drive I discovered the food was cold! Not only was it cold, the chicken was pink in the middle. The breading was even mushy. This has been the best Chinese that I have found in San Antonio. I am so disappointed I may have to be on the search for another place. I have recommended the restaurant to so many people. I would be embarrassed if they would tell me they had a bad experience since I go on and on about Lin's!

It's a fast drive-thru, but I'm not fond of their Mongolian beef and Lo mein. The egg roll wasn’t as flavorful as it looked, But it had a nice crispy outside!
