What a fun place! The gal working was super helpful and my wife and I and my daughter all enjoyed a great bottle of wine and some sourdough bread. The vibe is super chill inside...don't miss this little gem!!

From the outside, I would never have guessed this to be a wine place. It's a small building covered in graffiti art and has the vibe of hipster/grunge. But inside, you'll see floor to ceiling shelves of wines sold by the bottle. You can also purchase just a glass to try, if you prefer. In addition to wine, they have a modest menu of food items including things like sourdough bread and a cheese plate. It's perfect pairing for the wine. Service is friendly but subdued, as is the entire ambience. You order at the counter and grab a seat-either indoor or out, and your food is brought to you. I visited in the early afternoon on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet. Maybe later in the night on a weekend, it might get hopping in there.

Small bites and a fantastic white selection! Little Death is right on off the strip and we'll worth a trip there!

It was a decent wine dive. Parking isn't great, but that's not really the business fault. Had a good time in the outside seating.

We stopped in for wine after a nice brunch. Random selection. Nothing special. They have an entire wall of French wines but my personal inventory is better. Chad is written on numerous bottles but according to another frequent shopper those bottles aren't N option without permission. Tons of smaller wineries. Nothing bad about that. I was put off by their politics. I'm not an Abbott fan AT ALL but seeing "fuck Greg Abbot" on the wall and "periodpalooza" was to "in my face". The service was basic. No dialogue at all. I'd never go back. World Market or Whole Foods has a lot of their wines.

Cute little wine place! The interior is small but they sure make up for it with a great selection of wine. I stopped by really quick and asked for some recommendations which the counter person was happy to help with. I tried a local rose which was wonderful and was exactly what I was looking for. I also purchased a french white which I haven't tried yet but I can't wait. Will definitely return. Perhaps I will sample some wines by the glass and enjoy some of their charcuterie. There's parking out front but it's small so come early. Check on Instagram for events they have during the week.

Little Death is usually one of our favorite San Antonio spots due to the great wine selection and incredible customer service. However, today we were met with an employee who quite rudely told us we were not allowed to taste wines before committing to a glass. This had never been the case in the past, and we ended up disappointed with the recommendation and our selections. Hopefully, we hit it on an off-day and will have a better experience during our next visit!

I went to Little Death with a friend and she had wine I had a beer and Bruschetta. The place itself is sooo cute, we sat outside, it's right off the st mary's strip and if the weather is good the outdoor seating is perfect. They also have indoor seating, it's small but it's nice. The bruschetta was good, it tasted very fresh. We ordered the food at the counter and it was brought to us quickly - good service. I will def be coming back for a wine night

Really cool vibe. Would recommend to couples on St. Mary's that are looking for a quiet spot to grab a glass of wine and talk.

- There is a female worker Maria needs to find another job or work in a different area and not in the front counter. The customer service skills was beyond terrible!- The reply was probably the owner Chad (no disrespect to the owner as I enjoyed the creativity of the small business). However, the female employee working that day gots to go!!!!!!!- I’m glad my comment was read. Now take action!
