Had lunch today and the food was delicious! Quick and friendly service, Kristina P was our server and she went above and beyond. We eat here every time we visit the Riverwalk. We will be back!

This place has amazing atmosphere, fry good, grill good, serve good, eat good. Steaks are great with a tall cold one. Drinks are also great. the bar is really popular, something to check out if you're on the river

My husband and I visited the restaurant on April 29 when we both got steaks and sides. The steaks were cooked perfectly without extra seasonings that detract from the taste. They were both really good! For dessert, we split a piece of pecan pie, and I wish i had some right now. Without a doubt, that was the best pecan pie I've ever had! Topped with a perfect layer of toasted pecans, the center was a creamy concoction of perfect sweetness that didn't overpower the pecan flavor. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I'm grateful that I don't live in San Antonio because I'd eating it all the time and would be the size of a large house!

First night on the Riverwalk and I chose here. Mistake. Service was slow and my steak was below average. Asked for medium rare and got well done. Bummer. Our friend ordered a wine and it came about 10 minutes after the rest of us got our drinks. Our experience might have been better if we were sitting on the deck overlooking the Riverwalk. We were inside and there is just no ambiance. Not much more to say. Really unimpressed.

Arrived with a group of 7 was seated immediately upstairs and outside. Had a great view of the river rock. Food was good everyone finished all their food. We ordered every appetizer off the menu to try which was good too. The entire team recommends this place.

If there were an option for negative stars this place would earn them. We dropped in for a quick lunch. After being seated, we were entirely ignored for roughly 10 minutes as servers all stood around mere feet from our table gossiping and chatting. Eventually one of the servers gossiping yelled back to the kitchen, “Hey Penelope you’ve got people out here waiting.” Eventually Penelope appeared. She didn’t seem pleased to be out taking our order, but we did manage to get an order placed. It took forever for food to come out, despite the cafe being nearly empty (which probably should have been the first clue to stay away). Our order included two burgers, fries with one burger and onion rings with the other. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. However, as my companion was drinking her beverage we noticed an anomaly with the drink. It looked as though someone had spit in the drink or otherwise tampered with it. Of course, our server was once again nowhere to be found. We decided it was time to settle the check and get out of this establishment. Eventually I stood up and wandered around the place hoping to get someone who could give me our bill. Apparently seeing me wander around, Penelope did come over. I informed her we were ready to pay and leave. Rather than providing me a bill, she rattled off a total from the screen of her handheld ordering device. I explained to Penelope that I wanted a printed ticket. She huffed and walked away, although she did return with a ticket. The total bill? $60 for the burgers, sides, and the tampered-with drink. Unbelievable! No apology for the terrible service, and no offer to remedy the spit-in drink. There are lots of great dining options in the area. This is not one of them. A good place to steer clear of. If you do roll the dice and venture inside, check your drinks and food carefully or you might become the next victim of spitting waitstaff (or whatever was in that drink).

Good food, ok service but not attentive, casual ambiance. Great views to the river walk. We sat upstairs. Asked a waitress walking by for silverware and refills and were told she wasn't our waitress but would tell her we needed something... Bad customer service on her part. We spent a good amount of money there to be treated like this. Would not come back again especially because they weren't busy. Ordered Salmon, country fried chicken dinner and appetizers.
