This was my last meal on my visit to San Antonio, and boy it didn't disappoint. The food and service were excellent! I had breakfast on that visit. I can't wait to come back and try lunch or dinner at this restaurant. 5 stars all the way!

We aren’t big diner people; however, when I saw their menu was marked with gluten free options, we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised with the amazing service, and careful consideration around our food allergies. Mira was knowledgeable of the menu and took to great care of us. The steak and eggs were perfect. Thank you, Mama’s cafe!Dietary restrictions: They were knowledgeable about gluten and dairy.

The food was blessed. It's not worth the price at all. The service was good and the atmosphere was chill. The food was just not good. The chicken fried chicken was all crust, the burger was dry and the pot roast tasted like someone dumped an entire container of salt in the meat. Plus the pot roast was so greasy there was a puddle of grease on the plate. Not worth the cost at all. If I'm paying $16 for a burger it needs to be juicy

Crust did not stick. Very little gravy. Gravy was coldManager came to table beside ours spoke to guest. Asking about their experience never stopped by table. Went back talking to other employees. Only had about 5 tables in restaurantCalled back ask for manager employee stated why did I need to talk to manager about. Very rudeManager gave lots of excuses and stated she was in office doing paperwork. New cooks always gets compliments about their foodHad been years since I was there and will be years before I go again. Between food prices and lazy employees no wonder so many places going out of business. Just said to pay $22.00 for a plate that’s like a kids plate

Good variety. Great food. Welcoming, casual atmosphere. Attentive and friendly staff. Mamas pot roast burrito is so good i cant move on to anything else for breakfast.
Nope. First time back after the reno, a couple years ago, the food was just meh. Haven’t been back until tonight when out of town guests wanted to go there. My wife and I got the pot roast and it was so salty, it was almost inedible. We didn’t say anything because we wanted the focus to be on our dinner guests. We will not be back.

Today is April 9Once again a wonderful exsperiance here. Wife and i came in for an early dinner.She had the Greek Salmon salad with no onions. And the waiter asked about allergies to be safe. Thank you very much for that, and i had the Pan seared Redfish. Food preperation and presentation was exquisite. For appetizers we had the mushrooms and the deep fried deviled eggs which were amazing. I drank an arnold palmer while my wife had lavender lemon drop.The service was wonderful and very attentive. Our server (Hanley? I think) was very awesome and polite in his recommendations.The cowboy dining room did fill up quickly. The regular dining area was not open yet which was fine.Overall such a great dining experienceWill dine here again and again.

First time here.I had Papa's breakfast and my husband had Country Fried Steak.Both steaks were juicy and flavorful. The gravy was to die for. Yum!Dessert was homemade apple crisp, hot and yummy!Thanks Pablo for amazing service!
