Last Sunday, Robyn of Ma’s Ranch and Rescue had invited us to the Easter Bunny Bash at the Culebra Creek Park on the west side of town. I found @mariscosdelpuerto1 not too far from the park on Culebra and we headed there for lunch before the event. The place was very intimate and definitely full of customers. Dad and I had the Limonada Agua Frescas, and Hubby had Topo Chico. There was so much on the menu to choose from. We decided to try the Ceviche Pescado (fish), Caldo de Maricos (seafood), Mini Capitan, half dozen Ostiones (oysters), and 3/3/3 fish, shrimp and fried oysters with fries. So much fresh and good food. Paola was our server and she was very busy with the crowd. Glad we ordered medium-sized dishes as the portions were generous. If you’re ever on the west side of town, check them out.

Great local Mexican place. Ceviche and campechana were great. Tres leches was incredible. Everything was homemade and it showed. The sauces on the table were incredible. If you are staying around seaworld and don't want park food or chain garbage come here. You will not be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: Took my 3 little Monsters 2 yrs 4 yrs and 7 yrs and we were right at home

First time there I had their lunch special was one piece of fried cod with Spanish rice and refried beans small little salad tartar sauce with tea. For under ten . Before my mail corn chalupa shells with two kinds of sauces they were pretty good. Knock your basic hot sauce that you normally get these are way different I enjoyed them very much. Looking forward to going back to try something else

I dont know who's rating this place. But when I walked in it was really shocking. It was kind of messy. Tables still had dishes that needed to be picked up. So we waited for a table to be cleaned. Im sorry to say we had terrible service. We had to wait too long for drinks. Order to be taken. And our food. By the time we got our food it wasn't really piping hot. It was sitting a little before it was served to us. I thought it would be so much better. All the ratings. False. I think this place is just another hole in the wall restaurant that doesn't serve its customers well. False ratings. Horrible service. And the atmosphere has no atmosphere. Its like eating in a hospital restaurant but at least at the hospital you get better food and service. Wow. Never again.

Almost any seafood restaurant with a life-size pirate on board is usually alright with me, and this place was no exception! This was our first time here, and everyone was happy with all the food. Started off with a large shrimp cocktail that we shared. The cocktail sauce was more like what I loved back home, and tasted refreshing. I also appreciated the tasty thick cut cucumbers. The rest of the food was also a hit! The kids Pasta Blanca de Camarón got rave reviews, and my wife's stuffed fillet covered in spicy chipotle sauce was impressive! She really enjoyed it, including the cilantro? rice and veggies. My "large" caldo de mariscos came in a GINORMOUS bowl about the size of my head. Very tasty and filled with a good amount of seafood. The broth was tasty, but lacked a little something to make it great. I added some of my wife's chipotle sauce and it helped. We also loved the little complimentary "shot glass" sized cups of piping hot, peppery tasting, fish broth. A nice little treat along with friendly service! We'll definitely be back. ??
