Solid place with good service and a unique interior and location. Food was OK, pretty sure I got store bought Mission tortillas, but they do have fresh flour tortillas, so I was a little confused there why they would differentiate. You can see in the pics

Taste is definitely there, special of the day was a little "reduced" down to a concentrated state but the flavor was perfect.

It was great. It was 7 of us, and we all had different plates. They were all excellent.

Those are not red chilaquiles, they are chips, they just put sauce in the hole, all stained black on the bottom, I will never go back!!!

We’ve been coming here for about three years since we moved to the neighborhood, they are delicious. We prefer them to the other Mexican restaurant in the same shopping center. We usually get an assortment of tacos or enchiladas and have never been disappointed. The salsa is great, and so are the tortillas and coffee. Staff is always friendly too and prices are good. Great little spot, we only wish they were open for dinner too but we try and sneak out at least once a week for breakfast or lunch. ?

This place is the bomb. Born and raised in San Antonio and I know good Mexican food. Breakfast tacos on point, right texture of flour tortilla and the salsa is amazing. The Chilaquiles are amazing. Give this place a shot you will not be disappointed.

I can not wait until I get to eat at this place again. So many amazing tacos. First, the lengua is freaking amazing. So tasty, so flavorful, just amazing. The tripas were even better. Not too crunchy but crisp to perfection. Next up the carne guisada, so good! The gravy really needed salsa but the soft tortillas really carry the tacos. My boyfriend also said the migas were generously served. The staff was friendly and attentive. 5/5 all the way.

The last time I had the best posole was in Saltillo Coahuila, México. And that was 30 years ago. It brought back beautiful memories and the flavor of old Mexico.

Bad service….. And they always over charge you for your food just check your ticket with the menu prices ….. Never coming back….

Was going to be my first time here and was craving a bowl of Pozole but right when I walked in they had a mop in front of the door and was told they were closed. It says they close at 3 and I mentioned that saying oh well I thought you guys close at 3 and then was corrected by a lady that said no we close at 2:30, and it was 2:11 when I walked in. Disappointing when they advertise a certain time everywhere but when you get there it’s a different story. Funny when I just wanted a bowl of soupto go and it still wasn’t closing time. They lost a potential first time customer!

I have been going to Marisol’s ever since I moved to Timberwood Park about 4 years ago. My wife, myself, and our children love going there because the food is always amazing, the staff is friendly and very good at what they do, and because this family owned business treats us like an extended part of their own family! So if you are looking for great authentic food from an amazing family owned restaurant, then Marisol’s is definitely for you!!
