Outstanding!!!! This place blew us away. The chef is so talented and the staff is great. We've dined in restaurants from Paris to San Francisco and this is one of the most memorable meals we've ever had. The food was perfect. They also offer unique cocktails and a solid wine list. Lovely ambiance too.

My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary, we were first greeted with a card signed by all the serves. Such a sweet touch. The food was amazing and the service was terrific. We highly recommend, we are def gunna make it back down for their brunch!

Great night out. We had calamari and octopus, 1/2 chicken, asparagus and drinks. These folks know how to provide service on top of great food

We came to San Antonio for the eclipse and this dinner could eclipse it. An outstanding experience from start to finish. Not to be missed.

Appetizers and drinks were good. Those are the two stars earned. The service was terrible. The entrees took a very long time to come out. The entrees were not good. Chicken and schnitzel were overcooked and bland. When we complained to our waiter he said he would “see what he could do” and then did nothing until he came back with the bill. We picked this place for a birthday dinner and were very disappointed.

After being crammed into the only table that was up against the wall between a pillar and a fire extinguisher, in a half empty restaurant, we waited about 20 mins before we got up and left because never once did a waiter come to our table to even attempt service, feel weird leaving a review of the service here considering I never experienced it.

Amazing food and service. A must when in San Antonio. An off the river walk and well worth a short walk.

If you're looking to host an event for a moderate size crowd, Maverick Texas Brasserie is where you want to be. The food, ambiance, and service were top notch. We were greeted by the gentlemen in valet who were courteous and quick, then escorted to a private room. In our way to our room, I couldn't help but to notice the upscale urban industrial style of decor in the general dining area. The lighting was warm and romantic and it smelled amazing. Once we made it to the private room we were greeted by the dedicated staff who let us know how the event would run for the evening. Once the happy couple arrived, everyone's meals came out. My husband, son, and I all ordered the NY Strip Steak with mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. They were flavorful and cooked to perfection. My son is very picky and even he loved it. Portions were perfect. We also had a few drinks and I have to say they were well made. The Maverick's staff was so welcoming of our large family event. There had to be at least 40 of us. They were accommodating and let us customize everything. We'll be hosting here again.

This place was so good! Everyone was happy with their food! The ambiance is pretty cool. The service was great. I'm not a big meat-eater, but I had a salad with chicken on it. Swear to God, it was the best roasted chicken I've ever had. We will go back!

Love the atmosphere, sleek, stylish, great wine list. We had a green salad and french onion soup app, both excellent. My husband had the veal stroganoff special and loved it, my salmon was perfectly cooked, though a little salty. Creme brulee dessert was yum, and our server was the best. Hilarious, non-obtrusive, attentive. They also have a large party space (like 8-12) and a party space (advertised as 50+ ppl) that look really nice. Overall loved it. Great gem in San Antonio!

Tonay and Mia are ROCKSTARS! These two beautiful young ladies provided a level of service that I have not witnessed in quite some time. 20 YELP stars deserved. We ambled in here off the street after walking all over San Antonio. I'm pretty sure you needed reservations at this amazing restaurant, but we were seated right away and taken care of like regulars. The food was sensational! I had a Kolcsh and the cheesy puffs appetizer. I couldn't pronounce the name, much less remember what they were called, but it reminded me of my favorite childhood snack, Tidbits! Not sure why they don't make those anymore. We had the burger and fries...poivre frites. The burger was cooked perfectly medium, and Tonay split it for us, with separate plates for sharing. I didn't want to leave! Maverick was that good. Mia spent time sharing all the eclectic things we could do after dinner in San Antonio. She was spot on with her recommendations. Maverick is a restaurant I would be at every week if I lived there. A must visit on our next trip to San Antonio. Pro tip.......check out the magical bathroom at Maverick!
