I went here for the first time for a private bridal shower. The service, food, atmosphere was amazing. The shrimp Paesanos was soooo delicious. Cocktails were fresh and well balanced!

We came to San Antonio to visit family and they took us out on a quiet Monday. We had the pleasure of Sean as our server, he was very attentive and informed us of the chef’s suggestion for the day. Sean kept our drinks filled throughout our meal and overall provided superb service!On to the food..Let me start off with the warm bread, seasoned olive oil and hummus, delicious! We took forever to look at the menu because we couldn’t stop eating the bread. For the antipasti, we ordered the bruschetta, calamari and the stacked eggplant. Bruschetta was ohhh so good, simply seasoned and perfectly crunchy. The stacked eggplant was my favorite, beautifully cooked, cheesy and I could have eaten that as my entree and stopped there (I’m picky so I can’t tell you about the calamari)I’m already full but then the Caesar salad comes out. I ate half and tapped out when the lemon pepper chicken (no spaghetti, sub mashed potatoes) and green peas came out. Sean kindly boxed my plate for me.We got back to Dallas and heated up the lemon pepper chicken and OH MY GOODNESS! I would drive back to San Antonio just to enjoy Paesanos again!From the quality of the food, beautiful atmosphere and excellent service, it’s definitely a place I will be dreaming about until our next visit.

Wife had pan seared scallops. I had blacked tuna. Both were absolutely delicious. Had the Ammaretto Creme Brule for dessert. It was great. The service was amazing. Not just the waiter but many other staff coming by to ask if anything was needed. Price was quite reasonable. It was our first time there. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
I have been going to Paesanos since the 70's. We usually eat at the quarry location. Yesterday we ate 1604 location. It was the worse meal all three in our party have ever had! Waiter was slow forgot several items. The shrimp paesanon was not Prepared correctly tasted fishy. My friends had fish lunch special. Fishy,too.My advice eat at the quarry location!
The starter had delicious hummus and I ordered a jays plate that had shrimp and eggplant spaghetti. Which was very rich. The best was the eggplant.

My sister had her wedding there and it was absolutely beautiful. The food was excellent and the service was great. I will say there was kind of a long wait for drinks and food but that's to be expected. They were very busy with the wedding and the normal customers they would have on a Saturday evening. Overall very impressed.Kid-friendliness: I will say it's not the best place to take small children. I love the fact they are able to feed the fish but they were also able to jump in the water and my nephew did??♀️
