Beautiful upscale Mexican restaurant. Food and drinks were all very tasty, fresh, special requests were successfully accommodated. Highly recommend for a special occasion

Best Mexican restaurant in town. Great takeout. We often order 2 dozen enchiladas with the sauce and cheese on the side. We take them home, follow their cooking instructions and get fresh cooked meal at the time we want it, particularly great if some of the family show up late. I35 is now unpredictable.

Excellent place, one of the best real Mexican restaurants in SAT. If you're by yourself. Make sure to sit at the Bar. Javier, the bar tender, he's the best. Outstanding customer service by Javier and the young girl helping him. Great margaritas and great food. Definitely I'll be back when I get back to

Not the best service I have ever had and not a place for a quiet dinner but the food was amazing and I will be going back.Parking: You may have to walk a bit - lots of businesses around there.

The service was terrible. We went there at 12:00pm today and we didn’t get our food until after 1:20pm. In the meantime other people who came in much later & sat down were getting their meals within twenty minutes. Our waiter wasn’t refilling our coffee/teas & never apologized for our late lunch. When we got our meals, the food tasted like it had sat out for an hour getting cold & then quickly heated in a microwave. It was awful! I was so irritated I didn’t want to eat, so when i tried to get the waiters attention to get a box, it took another 30 minutes as he kept looking away from me. Very dodgy. The food tastes like utter disappointment.

Updating my review based on my last experience. Nobody picked up the phone at 7:00 on a Sunday. Dogs not allowed. 30 min wait for patio on a Sunday at 7:45. Was told we could get food at the bar and carry it ourselves to the waiting area. Kind of awkward. We got a menu and it had food all over it. Decided not to stay this time.Excellent food and excellent service. Ivan was extremely attentive. Parking was a bit of an issue but there is street parking around the block.

Although what seems like a nice ambiance and atmosphere, the reality of the food is sadly disappointing. Was really excited to see what they had to offer but was disappointed. Beans were great as well as the tortillas though.

Edit: months later and still no responseMy family has been eating at Paloma since before it opened at its present location. Last night, we ordered and our food arrived in good time. However, I was missing my drink. Then, there were at least three moths buzzing around the table and we informed two of the servers in the vicinity, who didn’t seem very concerned. As I was eating my soup, I discovered an eyelash in the bowl. I wanted to inform the waiter but we sat and sat and sat. We had intended to take home the rest of the meal, but it sat out for so long because no one came to our table, that we were afraid it could have spoiled. When we finally were able to speak to a different waiter (ours was still nowhere to be seen), he summoned someone else who brought a check from which the soup charge had been removed but the charge for the drink I never received was still there. We then waited again and a different person came and said he would fix the bill but then came back with the same bill that we had been presented with before. He had run the card already, there was no itemized receipt this time, and we could not find anyone else, so we paid and left. It is the first time ever we have never left a tip. This was such a disappointing experience, since one of us had traveled home for the holidays and had been looking forward to this meal for a long time.Edit to add we just saw the credit card charge and we were charged still for everything

The food was good, but lacked flavor. We did like that the chips were made with olive oil. Soup portions are small. I had the caldo tlalapeno. It was okay.
