We have been going to Ruth's Chris for over 25yrs. Consistently great ! On this occasion we had a particularly outstanding waitperson by the name of Jeff. A true professional. We have food allergies and he helped guide us through the menu to make sure we had a delicious meal ! We will continue to make Ruth's Chris our 1st choice steak house !
We had such a great time. I truly appreciate that everyone knew it was our anniversary and seemed to make it their life mission that we enjoyed our night. Javier was our hostess and did an unbelievable job along with management personally coming by and checking on us as well. The Mrs enjoyed and I as well. Such a great experience!
Everything from start to finish was top notch Ordered the porter house for 2 was cooked to perfection with a side Caesar salad and loaded baked potato. Excellent waiter and service. Will be back soon. It was our anniversary and the provided a dessert.
The food was amazing! The service was amazing! When I made the reservation I put that we were celebrating our Anniversary and from the moment we walked in everyone wished us a Happy Anniversary! Our waiter RJ was very attentive and conversational.

So we went to a steak house and neither one of us got a steak. My husband got crab cakes that were full of crab but fairly bland. I got Shrimp Orleans but it was also very bland - I think having Orleans in the name suggests some seasoning - nope! The shrimp tasted like they were previously frozen also. Our server was very nice but not too quick - when I asked for a glass of wine, it took 10 minutes, when my husband asked for lemons for his crab cakes it took 5 minutes - as his food got cold. I got my favorite creamed spinach and it was served cold. Overall a very mediocre night out to dinner

The happy hour menu is the best in town. The seared ahi tuna and voodoo shrimp are otherworldly. Top it off with with either their steak sandwich or prime burger and you're in heaven at a great price point.
Ridiculous prices. Overall the food was not good.Definitely expected more from this restaurant.

Ruth Chris never disappoints the food is always delicious, the flavor, temperature and portion are always consistent. The porterhouse is always cooked to perfection moist, tender and full of flavor. The only problem is that my favorite dessert has been taken off the menu. Please bring back the bread pudding. It is a must have.
Once again JT and his team have out done themselves! Jeff our server assisted by Jose were personable and fun and made our cozy Sunday night dinner enjoyable. La Cantera location is always my first choice of the three San Antonio locations and look forward to returning soon. Thanks once again for a wonderful dining experience!
2nd time ever at Ruth Chris steakhouse. Drinks and appetizer (calamari) was great. Shared salad and side dish were also great. The main event (steak) was horrible. I ordered the cowboy ribeye and my date had the filet, and she always gets a herb butter or truffle butter add-on, this time she chose herb. When the steaks came out, they put the herb butter on my steak, and not hers and I hate the smell and taste of rosemary which was in the butter. I informed the waitress who stated would she like to take it back and make a new one. I said yes. In approximately 2 minutes, she returns with another steak and a new scoop of butter on the side of the “500° hot plate”. I still smelled a strong odor of rosemary, and I realized that someone in the back flipped the steak over and the rosemary was still under the steak. As the waitress try to tell me that it was parsley. They made me a new steak that was not good at all, that I didn't eat. The manager rectified the situation, but I'd rather have a nice steak dinner then a horrible dining experience. I will not return to this location again, or Ruth's Chris.

The  filet mignon was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the au gratin potatoes.  Our server was great and  everyone at the restaurant paid our 25th anniversary extra special!
