Ordered a chicken salad and it was good …my mom ordered a steak salad and couldn’t even chew it . We were being super nice . Typically a restaurant should compensate for eating food beforehand you can’t even eat... Also , she’s eating by her self with her new meal. Which should have been compensated for the inconvenience.

I usually have nothing but good things to say about Saltgrass Steak House but this trip was not that way. Got there with no wait to be seated. Places our order and things seemed to be going well but just like that everything changed. It took quite a long time to get our food and when we did it was luke warm at best. I was changed extra to have 2 sides instead of a side and a salad. No big deal but when my food came out the extra side I order was cold and uneatable. I told this to our waitress when she finally came back and check on us. The butter that was placed on my steak didn't melt at all and my baked potato was the same. After explaining this my waitress said so sorry. But refused to take the 2nd side of my bill or even ask for a manager to come talk to us. Just an overall bad proformance from the team at Saltgrass.

Unfortunate terrible service experience this evening. Called ahead to place a togo order and spent 10 minutes on hold.... Drove to the restaurant while on hold and when walked in the hostess asked how she could help me (she was the only polite person in entire experience). I told her I had been on hold for the 10+ minutes and needed to make a togo order, the 2 "managers"(guys wearing headsets and not plain white shirts stood there and did nothing when I told her this. She showed me to the togo counter where the young togo lady stood with her back to me for a couple minutes. After finally placing the togo order I sat at the bar.... Next mistake. It would've been nice to enjoy a beverage while waiting for my order, or hell even be offered a glass of water but the 15 minutes I sat at the bar completely ignored, watching the bartenders take care of other guests and even greet a couple that sat down after I had but no, ignored. Terrible service all around, no awareness from management, hosted again was only polite person there.

This restaurant is like a saloon.Kid-friendliness: I love this place where I can get potato soup with a little black pepper, a coke, and an order of country fried steak and a side of French fries with ketchup and ranch dressing.

My husband and I came on a Sunday at around 3pm. It wasn't too crowded so the atmosphere was very nice. Valerie was our server and she gave 5 star service! She checked in on us frequently and always made sure our drinks were full! We will definitely be coming back.

My Cajun Rib Eye was awesome. But I can not give a 5 star because one of the others had a very grisly bacon wrapped filet that had to be sent back. Also the the range rattlers were very good. Highly recommend them.
