Tonight was the first time we have ever been to Savor. Our server Clay was great. He was very attentive and very professional. He made the experience so worth the drive. The food was delicious. All in all we had a wonderful time. 5 Stars all around!

Food was thick with sauces and foods that simply aren't served in today's popular reataurants. Staff are the students but this is a chef issue. Students are in final semester of program. Check out menù online before you book. No tipping but 20% is charged for scholarships.

The staff and environment was wonderful. I really enjoyed getting to know all who served us. However I found the food to be very saucy and processed . I am not sure who sets the menus but I had hoped for more contemporary food. I ordered Cod thinking a nice piece of fish but that was not the case. It was served mashed up and served wrapped in a pepper with sauce. Lots of sauces and salty unfortunately on three courses. I was excepting contemporary and farm to table fresh. But the experience was very fun with wonderful wine pairing. I love my desert which was a cheese plate. My husbands salad was beautiful and very tasty as were the ribs. Wonderful people and service and I believe the students will be the cream of the crop when they come out.

We frankly booked Savor by mistake and it was one of the best mistakes we've ever made in our dining experience. We consider ourselves foodies and are always searching for new experiences. Stumbling into this student lead restaurant we were blown away by the quality food, the sophistication of the service, and the overall dedication to find dining that we found The squid tapas had an underlying flavor that we find in Curry that made the dish. no one could identify with the spice was, but it was pure heaven. the shrimp appetizer was also amazing, and the hand chopped garlic was pungency strong but not overwhelming. I had the white bean clam and chorizo appetizer. The garlic tomato sauce was inspired and closed. Perfect. The garlic also made the dish. I really loved it. We also had the typical Spanish style croquette with a beautiful piece of Ibero ham. Drizzled with a delightful tomato based sauce. For my partner had the beef cheek, which had the wonderful consistency of tongue, but far more flavor. The potato loaf accompanied was quite nice. For mains I had the Stripped bass and it did not fail to please. It's sat on a bed of paella style rice. It was perfectly seasoned. The fish was flaky and delicate, the flavor of the garlic and tomatoes. Unfortunately, the dessert did not match the rest of the meal, but the wine pairings were great, except for a boytris style wine that had a pungent odor of hemp. All in all, this was a great meal, and a totally unexpected surprise.

Our waiter Benny and Chef Fabien were extremely helpful and informative of the menu and all around hospitable throughout our dining experience! All dishes that were recommended were unique and delicious! Would definitely recommend trying this place and supporting the culinary students!

We enjoyed the seasonal tasting menu. The Spanish theme was spot on. The favorite dishes of the 4 courses + tapas were the ceviche, pulpo, and paella inspired redfish. We can't wait to come back for the next seasonal tasting.

the food was extremely creative and delicious. I'm sure a lot of time and preparation went into the making of each course. The ribs that my wife had were dry but aside from that the evening was an excellent experience. Dollar for dollar it was a great value.

Excellent menu and wine list. Very informative wait staff and very courteous. Located at The Pearl in San Antonio, Texas. So plenty to and see. Loved the 3 and 4 price fixe menu. Everyone in our group enjoyed the choices they picked. Highly recommend Savour when in San Antonio, Texas. 5 stars!!

We have lived in San Antonio for 22 years and enjoyed most of the great restaurants in our town. We are foodies.By chance, the couples at the table on our right and left of us (and us) all ordered the same exact dishes. We discussed after each course and all agreed that Savor is the best restaurant in San Antonio.Croqueta - light, fluffy with salty jamon. MagicalCamaron - spicy shrimp, cooked perfectly with seaweed. The seaweed balanced the dish and made it pure heaven.Pulpo - cooked perfectly. AmazingCanelones - WoW! This smoky duck like nothing you have ever tasted before.~ Paella (forgot the name) - like a party in your mouth.Mejilla - its like the better tasting short rib. So tender and rich.Nothing that we had was good. Everything was great to amazing. Service was perfect too. Will be back soon. Best restaurant in SA

I had dinner there with a friend last night, and from start to finish everything was absolutely lovely. The entire staff/students were very kind and attentive. I have social anxiety, so I deeply appreciated how welcoming the atmosphere was. Our server Courtney made us feel right at home, and made the entire experience both elegant and fun. The FOOD, 10/10 delicious. Me and my friend literally ate off each other's plates for the sake of trying even more it. I look forward to going back soon. My favorite dish was hands down the Pulpo, I love seafood and that pulpo was the best i've eaten anywhere so i'll definitely be reordering it. (P.S. I don't know what they put in that potato soufflé but it was so good I can't stop thinking about it)
