Those dishes tasted good. The noodle with veggies and squid rings dish smelled fishy—it was more than I expected. Nice and purple environment. Staff were very friendly.

We traveled to Thailand and when we returned searches for a restaurant that served food that was authentic. Sawasdee is the place! We love their curry dishes the most. Really delicious Thai Fried rice too

This is a special place. I've never been to Thailand myself, but my guess would be that the food and atmosphere here are likely representative of authentic Thai culture and eats. Subdued, inviting interior with attentive, cordial staff. Owner seems to already be present and it is evident in the repeated quality of the food and experience. Love to dine in but you get exceptional food to go here as well. Packaged with thoughtfulness everything needed to eating back at home.

Food was great as usual but my husband ordered his food too spicy, even for him. He got the Thai hot slice level but it was almost inedible. Next time I think medium spice would be just fine. It was just hard to tell online how hot Thai hot was compared to medium and hot. The only other complaint was that we ordered online and when we got there to pick it up, it seemed like they hadn’t started on it yet, but they got the food out pretty quickly anyway.Vegetarian options: Lots of tofu options for the protein

My bf and I got this last night. He got the scallop curry and I ordered the pad thai beef to go. We love thai food and had been looking for a place that can be our usual. The food here was amazing! I've been to maybe 12 thai places in SA and this has been the one I can say I'll go back to. The curry was creamy and the spice was perfect. The pad thai was exactly how I love it. Lots of peanuts and bean sprouts really fresh and tasted great!
