Smack's Chicken is a hidden gem! The owner is not only a wonderful cook but also a funny individual. You can tell he means business when he's cooking and serving up your order. The chicken wings in any flavor are absolutely awesome! And let me tell you, the chicken sandwiches are so good, they'll make you twinkle your toes. And don't get me started on the mouthwatering mac and cheese and THE LOADED FRIES(generous portions)!!! Highly recommend giving Smack's Chicken a try. You won't be disappointed!

The chicken was amazing The fries were amazing ( they tasted like Barbque chips). The portions are massive and overall just a good place to eat. The guy running it is pretty cool. Looking up the menu was a bit weird but well worth it. I had the big smack and the BBQ mac and cheese sandwich. Both were really good.

Great little food truck! Nestled into a little development on Lamar St, it's kind of hard to find and you'd miss it if you thought it was in the building there between all the bars, but it's tucked in the parking lot and easily missed. You'll be glad you found it! There's a nice little outdoor eating area with picnic tables and mood lighting. It's a small operation. Just the owner and one employee, as far as I can tell. Opening early afternoon, they sell out of chicken almost every day. Friendly staff, but they have their moody days too! Especially in the hot summer. Very interesting and creative menu! I enjoy trying out everything. They have special limited run sandwiches, like a hot Nashville chicken breast on a blueberry cinnamon roll. Everything is delicious. My favorite is the PB&J. A nice mix of sweet and savory, and the warm peanut butter gives it almost an asian peanut oil flavor. My girlfriend loves the lemon pepper sandwich and gets it every time. Prepare to wait a little for your food, especially if they're busy. Everything appears to be made to order and not precooked now. The sandwiches are where it's at. They come with fries, and the loaded fries are just not worth it, in my opinion.

I want to like this spot more but the chicken is just too thick. The flavor doesn’t go throughout the chicken and the fries are kinda sweet. The guy running it is cool. I can see why everyone loves it. The Nashville hot wasn’t spicy at all (not even a little), which is kinda the hallmark of Nashville hot. He said he could make it spicier next time but I don’t know. If we come back it’s cause my wife wants it.

Don’t let the shack fool you or detour you from giving this spot a chance. This little shack definitely delivers the smack with the chicken sandwiches. The guy working there was really polite and had a lot patience with the customers.

We had the Family Pack: Garlic Parm, Lemon Pepper, Mac n Cheese and loaded Fries with Thai Chili sauce and cheese. I know it sounds like wierd combination for the Thai chili fries but it worked and was great. The portions were huge and chef was great to talk to and wants to not just pump out good food but bring a great value which is awesome. We went on a wet Sunday evening in the cold and there was still a line. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Can't remember the name of my sandwich, but it had peach jam, jalapenos, and cream cheese. Absolutely delicious! Fries were great, and the cook actually cares what you think about his food. One of my all-time favorite food trucks!!!

Amazing food at decent prices. Hard to see the sign from the parking lot and no real menu to browse, but staff is super friendly and explains what they have.

Awesome food! Really down home feel. Worker was really knowledgeable and provided good service.

The food is cooked well, but the flavor combinations (PBn'J/Mac'nCheese with fried chicken) just don't work.
