This place.is great and in the heart of the Pearl. The calamari was wonderful. We also enjoyed the fried chicken and the cracker crusted red fish - both delicious. If you want a true taste of the south, this is a great spot!

Ate here in a group of 7, had a wonderful time. Good beers, lovely atmosphere, and really nice staff. However, we ordered the mac and cheese with lobster and 3/7 of the party members become violently ill the next morning and one person almost checked into the hospital. Fortunately, it was an acute food-poisoning and not E. Coli or anything more serious.DO NOT ORDER THE MAC AND CHEESE WITH LOBSTER

Stopped by for dinner and the food was exceptional. The calamari was tender and delicious. The fried chicken was the best I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. The beer was great too! Overall great experience and would highly recommend.

I hate giving a 2 star but for a birthday dinner I had too, the server was not attentive and made the experience awful. I feel bad because it was my decision to come here tonight. Food flavors seemed like it could have be great, but unfortunately the food was too cold when it came out to be satisfied at all. Cold steak and cold pasta is not what I had in mind. I’m sure if it would have been hot it probably would have been great. When I made the reservation they asked if we were celebrating and I told them yes a birthday I guess I thought they would make it special, but no and that’s ok but maybe don’t ask…

This was a really nice place for my husband and I to enjoy as a little date. We got the Antelope Tartar, Oysters, Crab Mac &Cheese, the Duck Roll and the Pork Schnitzel. They ran out of the black peppered potatoes and substituted mash potatoes for us for free. The management and service was fantastic. Their alcohol drinks were great too. Overall I would love to come back!

Atmosphere outside is wonderful. Hostess was extremely helpful. Portion sizes were HUGE. Fried Chicken was the absolute highlight. Grits and Antelope Tartare was also incredible.

Such a cute place and the food is great too. We had a reservation but was able to be seated earlier. The restaurant definitely has a vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. The chairs indoors were really comfy with thick cushioning. We got the cornbread which was jalapeno infused (we didn't realize but it was a nice surprise). Even the bits without the jalapeno tasted like pepper which was awesome. The sweet and barely spicy combination was nice, not to mention the nice texture of the soft middle and crispy edges. The chicken entree we got was the famous fried chicken, half a chicken - one white meat breast and one dark meat thigh. It was the juiciest chicken I've ever had. Both items came out piping hot and was enough for two people to share.Note that the bathroom is a bit hard to find even when the server gave directions. Inside the restaurant, directly across from the entrance are stairs. UNDERNEATH the stairs around the bar area is a doorway with a ramp leading to a door that will take you into Hotel Emma. Once you open the door, make a right. It's strange that they share the bathroom with the hotel and makes it a slight trek.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is flat and very wheel chair accessible, no ramp is required.

Mehh, like other reviews say, their other location is a lot better. I got a chopped salad and it came with more onion than anything and no cheese. It was 1/2 onion, 4 cherry tomatoes and 1 head of lettuce. That’s it. Oh and like a tablespoon of bacon crumbles. Hubs got half a chicken, fried, which we shared. It was juicy, but didn’t really like the batter. Honey biscuits would have been dank if they were not as dense.
