This is a hidden gem off Austin hwy! We come during every season. Hot, cold & in between weather. Our friends w kids can play on the playground while we catch up. Our friends bring their dog too! There are usually 4-6 food trucks open with a great variety of different food. It's perfect bc everyone can find something they like to eat. The Italian food truck is definitely one of our favorites. There's one trailer at the front near the restrooms where you buy your drinks. They have soda, seltzers & a big variety of beer. I'm not a fan of beer but the list of beers they carry is long. So, beer drinkers will be happy. There is always a good variety of music playing at just the right volume. There is plenty of outdoor seating w fans (& misters) during the summer and heaters during the fall/"winter" months. There is parking in the front but if it's full, no worries...there is a huge parking lot in the back. There's 2 corn hole games & 2 giant Jenga games. I always take pics here but I just got a new phone. Oops! Point of this review: Check it out! We love this place!

Great to have the kids burn off some energy on the playground with others while I'm relaxing with a few beers. This time of year it is really comfortable sitting outside with the misting fans.

This review is for other bands that might be thinking about playing at this venue. Directions: StreetFare is in San Antonio, on Austin Highway. Finding it under normal circumstances is not difficult. Directions on the web appear to be accurate. It's at 1916 Austin Highway and quite visible from the highway. Layout: StreetFare consists of a small pavilion with a bar in one corner along with a number of tables and chairs. The pavilion has garage doors in the walls, so that on any side it can be opened to the outdoors. Outside, in back of the pavilion, are a number of food trucks and, sometimes, other vendors. It's a nice area to stroll through and boasts lots of tasty, interesting comestibles. Load-In: Load-in is not especially difficult. We were assigned to play in the pavilion and were able to back our trailer up pretty close to the pavilion's front door. Load-in is quite easy and you may be able to have them open one of the garage doors to make it even easier. However, there is a stretch of gravel between the trailer and the entrance, so equipment with small wheels may not roll very well over this. Inside the pavilion, the floor is concrete and rolling equipment then becomes easy. Once you've unloaded, you will need to move your vehicle. Note that parking can be rather haphazard, and people are likely to park very close to you, so try to find a spot to park where you can guarantee your ability to exit when the time comes. Stage: There is no stage. You will be setting up on the floor in one corner on the same side as the small bar and at the opposite end of the building. As a three-piece, we had no problem finding space to set up. We were asked to have one speaker stack outside pointing into the crowd. Note that electrical power may be a problem. For small venues like this, we usually use four amps: one for FOH subs, one for FOH tops, and two for monitors. The system is set up with multiple power cords so that we can spread our electrical draw across multiple receptacles. However, no matter how we distributed our power, we were unable to find a configuration where we didn't throw at least one breaker by the time were halfway through a song. Eventually, the only way management was able to resolve this issue was by turning off the A/C in the pavilion. This made for a somewhat toasty gig, but we had fans and were able to make it through the night without too much discomfort. Lighting: Since we were playing the afternoon and quit by 7:00 p.m., we didn't set up our light system. Considering the power issues, this was probably a good thing. I don't think that StreetFare had any kind of stage lighting, so if you're going to be playing after dark, you'll probably want to bring some sort of lighting with you. Sound System: The club has no sound system, so you'll need to bring your own. Volume: We had no problem finding an acceptable volume level for a classic hard rock band. Although we were asked a few times at the beginning to reduce our volume, we never felt restricted by volume constraints. Comfort: You are on the floor with the audience, so there's nothing to keep a customer that's had a few too many from tripping over the monitors and ending up in your lap. However, we had no problems of this kind and as best we could tell the clientele was very well behaved. Of course, having to turn the air conditioning off did make it a bit warm, but with the garage doors raised it wasn't stuffy and the breeze did provide some air movement in addition to our personal fans. Parking: StreetFare parking is essentially just a large empty area where people park as best they can. There's no space reserved for tandem parking so I think you would be wise to try to find a spot where you can't get blocked in. Venue Management: Pleasant and easy to work with. They're good people and we look forward to our next gig here. Overall: We had a very good gig. The crowd was enthusiastic and responsive. We are excited about the prospect of returning for another engagement.

We frequent this place pretty often since We have kids and we can all eat what we want. We were in need of a dove to rent for a get together and immediately thought of this location. I emailed through the website, waited a week knowing they are only open on the weekends and end of the week. Still never heard back. I messaged the business on Facebook and My fiancée then called and left a voicemail.... We waited another week.. never heard back. We ended up going in on Friday and I spoke with someone and told them we had attempted contact with someone numerous times to book their space and no one would contact us back and we really wanted to have our gathering at this location. They text the owner and STILL never heard back. Very unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. We probably won't be visiting anymore.

It was a fun place to go on a Friday night. The food trucks that we there that night brought a nice blend of foods to choose from. The variety of beers was amazing and the crowd was friendly. Our dog had a blast too. We are looking forward to going back soon.

This is one of my family's favorite places to go. They are only open Friday through Sunday. They have different food trucks each weekend. We like the different variety of food trucks they have to offer. There's also a playground for the kids and a little dog park area. There is an airstream set up where you can buy your drinks. Lots of seating and they also have a closed in area with ac to sit in on those hot summer days. If your looking for a family friendly food truck park, I highly recommend this place!

We love StreetFare so much! It’s such a great place to bring the kids to play, and try loads of different food from the rotating food trucks there. We especially love Bob & Timmy’s On Wheels, who not only have excellent food, but the loveliest owners too!

Loved the atmosphere! There's a bouncy castle and playground set for the kids, an indoor seating area that was welcomingly spacious and cool (especially in 100 degree weather!), a large outdoor seating area that was also surprisingly cool with fans and misters, and tons of options with the variety of food trucks. They were also just starting up some live music when we had to take off and get the kids to bed. Wish we could've stayed! Will definitely be back.

We used this genre for a Graduation Party and it was phenomenal! Dakota, Meri, Brandy and Eric were all very professional and friendly. They made this so easy to do. The food: amazing across the board! My guests were all happy with everything. This is a great place to hang out for adults, kids and teens. There is great seating, great play area for kids, Jenga and Cornhole for Adults. Top Rate place with amazing food! You are missing out if you haven’t spent time here! Thank you for the honor of hosting at Streetdare SA!
